Loved your pictures of the stage show!! My favorite prince and favorite villain all in the same place! I love that show!!!

WOW, I'm so going to have to learn how to crop out things like that crane! It's going to be nice to be going in January when there will be no crane WOOT WOOT!!!

I agree on the character... as cool as that is, if DH won't be totally into it then the $ is better spent elsewhere. And who needs a mouse cramping your style?

Ahh... the spa. I'm all for a repeat visit in May. I'm planning on trying the Mandara spa next month. I've heard good things.

Oh! Meant to add... I'm a bit jealous that you have a spot that symbolizes the beginning of your DVC journey. That is awesome. I booked my tour from the stand in the lobby at Pop Century one rainy afternoon but didn't buy until many months later and through resale. I want a symbolic spot too!!

I'm looking forward to lunch at the Plaza! I think it will be a nice, relaxing start to the trip! I think people often over look the Plaza! I can't wait to give it a try! In fact, three weeks from today we'll have already finished our lunch there

I can't justify spending the money on a visit from Mickey when DH isn't going to jump out of skin with excitement! I'd rather put that $ to better use!

I can't wait for the spa! I love, love, love the spa! I'm hoping to try the Mandara in May!

I had such a nice time meeting Jen and Leslie! Just think, soon we'll have our own Dis meet pics!

I'm counting down the days, really the hours and minutes too! I'm starting to get slightly nervous!

Awww, you can pretend and share mine DVC spot I remember DH standing there with the guides asking questions and thinking "I can't believe he may actually go for it!" I guess he drank the koolaid when I wasn't looking!

Yep I did! Thank you!!!! After reviewing a bazillion pics, I think we might actually go for a true lake view rather than the MK/parking lot view, since fireworks can be seen from many public places in the building....and we often aren't there to watch fireworks from the room anyway. Not sure yet though.

Your pictures of the castle show are great. I am glad you were able to get rid of the crane in the family picture. I have castle pictures with a crane in it as well. It really takes away from the pictures.

I'm kind of torn with the room view for BLT! The second half of our upcoming trip is MK view but the first half is lake view! I requested north side of the building, even # room. But, I've thought about changing that request so we can have the other side! I think I may like a view of WL with Epcot in the distance!

Your pictures of the castle show are great. I am glad you were able to get rid of the crane in the family picture. I have castle pictures with a crane in it as well. It really takes away from the pictures.

IT really does take away! I feel bad for people who are on a once in lifetime trip and end up with a crane in their pics!

Ok, it's time to stop dancing

We've got other business to attend to!

Ahem, I guess I just couldn’t resist! Me and the tweaking!


Well, the only thing I tweaked for our upcoming trip is moving our flight home! Originally our flight was scheduled for 11:45, I changed it to 4:25! A few park hours in the morning before we leave for home will be nice


I also tweaked March a little bit!


I got a letter the other day that the kiester coaster at Boardwalk is supposed to be down for refurb during DD’s b-day trip! I hemmed and hawed over what to do. I thought about resorts, I checked the points calculator! UGH! What to do!?

I played “what would you want to do if…,” with DD, I may have given her too much info and she probably is a little clued in, but I really felt like I needed her input! The trip really is for her, after all!

I listed DVC resorts and she jumped (literally) at the idea of BLT!

So, the next morning I was on the phone with DVC member services! They didn’t have all 4 nights together in any room! UGH! What to do again?! I slept on it and decided that I would call MS, take what I could get and waitlist if I needed too!

Well, I spoke to a wonderful CM who was super helpful and DD and I are now stay in a lakeview studio @ BLT 3/9 – 3/13 and the night of the 13th in a 1 bedroom lakeview at BLT! Woo hooo!



Now, moving on in the trip report! I left off at parade time!


We found a good spot in Frontierland and waited! Jen got all the kids popcorn and drinks for everyone!

While we waited I snapped this picture...


It had been so cold that the leaves had started to change colors and fall!
Soon enough it was time for the parade to start!



























After the parade we decided to head for Toontown! Some kiddos were wanting to ride the Barnstormer and to play in the playground there!

But first DD really needed a pit stop! So we stopped by Pinchoccios because the bathrooms between Liberty Square and Fantasyland were closed!

I took the time to take a few pictures!











When she was all done



Once we were in Toontown all those going on Barnstormer where on in no time! I don’t think there was any wait at all!


You can see Justin in the first car and BIL in the second!

The kiddos headed into the playground with DH to watchover them. Jen, Jessica, Jule and I headed into the big shop (I can never remember what it’s called) to look around!

I didn’t buy anything but enjoyed browsing! The girls, I’m sure, bought something!

It was soon nearing the time we needed to head out to go to Chef Mickey’s for dinner! So, we boarded the train and headed toward the front of the park!


From the train to the monorail we went and off to CR! Me admiring BLT along the way

We did some more shopping and browsing! In the shops in CR because it was still early! Again, the girls had $$ burning a hole in their pockets, still, so they made a few purchases while the kiddos and I browsed!


I did find one thing I’d love to have…




Love it!!!


Then we were off to check into Chef Mickey!

We waited maybe 10 or 15 minutes after we checked in. Not to bad and the kiddos entertained themselves with the TV’s and being goofy with each other!



Once we were seated we were off to the buffet in a flash!

You won't have to continue to look longingly over at BLT because over the next few trips you will have basically moved in!!

Great parade pictures...I love that picture too....I picked up a few prints from AKV in May....I can't remember who does them...they are like sketches of some of the resorts/parks. I got one of the Jambo lobby, savanna, etc. Love them!!

Best DIS meet picture - EVER! You all look adorable. Can't believe I missed this picture - stupid work computer. Sometimes I have photobucket and sometimes nothing.

I loved today's update and all the fab pictures of the kids and the parade. I can't believe you changed to BLT for March. OMG - I really hope you like it. I gotta tell you that so far AKL is still my favorite. Best decorating hands down. You will really enjoy the pool hopping from there...

So you don't have too much time left until D-Day. Whatever will you tweak next?

I noticed that tree and HAD to take a picture! Like fall at home but in Florida in January

I'm getting so excited and nervous!

I don't think I'll be adding any days or changing anything drastic between now and the trip, but then again you never know

Believe it! Honestly, I hope I like it too! Really, when I had the what if conversation with DD she literally hopped off the chair when I mentioned BLT! I asked "if we were going to stay at Boardwalk and the poolslide was closed, not the pool just the slide, would you still want to stay there?" She said no with out hesitation!

If I don't like BLT in a few weeks I can get over it for DD I kinda think I'm going to like it though! I wasn't all that jazzed by it when we originally toured. But, having seen 5 million pics and having had the opportunity to see the model again at the Doorway to Dreams store it's grown on me! When we went to Doorway to Dreams I was really feeling the need for a BLT stay Really, my only concern is that I've heard the studios are really small! We shall see!

I will not be changing anything! I think...
