Is the Magic still scheduled to undergo a dry dock in September 2015? If so, any idea if they will make any changes to it, other than standard, routine maintenance?

I really hope the plumbing issues are resolved before our trip. We have many families going with us who are first time cruisers and we really hyped up the Disney cruise. But if the toilets still have an issue they will be really grossed out.

I also hope they fix the plumbing issues. I wonder if they will also make any aesthetic changes?

We're on the Transatlantic sailing leaving May 15!
What are the plumbing problems?
We booked a deluxe outside deck 1 when bookings started. We got it for 1725 pp, it's uo to 3000 pp now.
Should I think about moving to a higher deck? I did not know there were plumbing issues on this ship!
Ugh!

We were on the Magic 2/22 sailing, Deck 6 forward. Mid way through the cruise we are getting ready for bed and the toilet won't flush. I call guest services and she says she'll tell maintenance. We wait about 20 minutes then all of a sudden, here a very loud swoosh sound, then hear the toilet flush. I go in and it's all cleared and flushes fine from then on out. About 10 minutes after that, maintenance knocks on the door and asks if its working now. I told him it was and asked what the issue was. He said the entire hall was clogged. Ewwwww. Ok, that's all I needed to know. Never had any other trouble the rest of the cruise.

I did think it was rather funny that guest services called back the next afternoon (like around 2:00) to ask if the plumbing issue had been resolved. Um, yes, if it hadn't been, I wouldn't have waited to all you back.... :)

Oh no! Should I be worried about our upcoming Northern Europe cruise? Have never sailed the Magic and am so looking forward to it!

I was just on the magic last month. Never experienced one plumbing issue anywhere on the ship.

just got back from our cruise on the magic. we were in room 7121 and had toilet issues. it wouldn't flush all the toilet paper and it got clogged too on different occasions. we just had to keep calling maintenance. We also had water dripping from the overhead air vent which was located right outside the bathroom door. I had water drip on my head. Maintenance came multiple times but couldn't fix it. We were so disappointed in our room!

Sailed the Magic last month for the tenth time. Have never experienced any plumbing issues. While they obviously happen it is not every stateroom on the entire ship.

It was a problem before the major drydock for a few years, and they never got around to fully fixing it from what I've read.

On another not I never had problems with the toilet on the magic mut on one cruise the tap in the bath tub wouldn't turn off. I call guest services and asked if I had to be in the room they said no and that the issue would be fixed.

At what point will Disney release the details of the dry dock? I'm also eager to know what will happen to the Dream during its dry dock.

You may have to cross more than your fingers for a concierge lounge! :p
Where would they put one?

I'm not sure where they would put it but after talking with a couple of CMs, I think a lounge is in the future plans.
