Saturday is gonna be here before we know it! :thewave:
I am so excited! DH, Eric, and DS, Nic, are finally starting to show their enthusiasm...they are a little slow, but now it's like gangbusters for Eric. He's even started singing around the house, "We're going on a cruise!!"

Nic has been preoccupied with school work...trying to get everything turned in and get started on the work he will miss so it's not such a huge pile when we return.
And today is such a great day because I can log-in to the DIS boards at home again!!!
Diversions sounds fine...I prefer a NS area to meet like many of the others, but will hang out where the "IN CROWD" is.
Lampy...
I swear you are full of surprises...let us know what happens with that girlfriend at
DCL...
As for letting the kids check in and out of the lab...Nic is 12 1/2 and very responsible...or so his momma thinks...I plan to let him do this on his own with some strict rules. Dagnabit! That is the one more thing I have to do...print out his Rules of Expected Behavior for the cruise.
As for how much time Nic will spend in the lab and away from the parental units? I haven't a clue. We tend to hang together on vacation, but this will be our first cruise and his first chance at meeting some kids his age so I really can't say.
Weather predictions....
At least as nice as it is here in Southern Illinois...70º today and overcast. I figure anyplace that has a beach, a big boat and a bunch of those foofy drinks has got to be better....oh, and no students to deal with or clients to rescedule.
Disneycruisin...
An idea for the tshirts...one of my fun jobs that the boys groan about then are happy to wear. You could find some clip art images of what your area looks like...then one of a space shuttle (Port Canaveral)...one of a stingray for Grand Cayman...one of something Mexican...Lampy, keep the burros out of this one...and one from CC. I made one for our "Rock and Roll Road Trip" in 2002...an old station wagon for the road trip, an Indy race car for our stop at Indianapolis, a huge scare the beegeebas out of you roller coaster for our stop at Cedar Point and a 50s style jukebox for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Each of these was attached to the clover leaf of the interstate graphic I found.
Well, I need to run...gotta listen to Nic's science presentation...I will check back at least once more before Saturday. I am really looking forward to meeting you all...or as I'm getting used to saying...ya'll.
Take Care!
