Ya'll are just gettin' me too hyped up which is hard because I've been so revved up about this trip so long....
Teresa...
Thanks for the updates and sharing the little door sign I made with everyone. It helps greatly since our home computer isn't fully functional. I lost all of my cookies so haven't been able to log on to the DIS as a registered member there...aargh! I am so happy for your upgrade!! Hubbies can be sweeties still.
Willie and Kellie...
Sounds like a great way to celebrate your anniversary! I understand the "special-ness" of WDW and marriage...WDW is where I realized that Eric, Nic and I would make it as a family. Eric gave Nic the trip for his 7th birthday before we married and I freaked out about spending a week 24/7 together. When we returned, my mom said, "well, ya'll didn't kill each other so you'll do fine if you get married." She was right.
Doug...
Hey, let your DS know there are two other boys going from the DIS boards...my son, Nic is 12 as is Teresa's (silver7) son. Nic hasn't had a lot of time to be online lately, so I thought I'd pass the info along. I will let Nic know there are more boys...he's still not a big fan of the opposite sex and that is just fine with his mom.
Although that could change any day...this week is junior high homecoming and the big dance is Friday night....Nic's still not sure if he's going.
And about these lime green shirts....it's really not my color! I am partial to reds...actually am thinking about wearing red or a tie-dye shirt that has red, fushia tones in it. If the boys decide to wear the family shirts on the way down I will let you guys know, but for now...we're in different outfits. Like Ron (Lampskies) it's been on the cold side here...it was 30º when I woke up this morning and hit the high in the 60s. DH, Eric, is still planning to wear some jeans for Saturday as we leave at 3:30am. DS, Nic, is adamant about wearing shorts. (I'm waffling...capris or shorts.)
About that formal night attire...
I have a floor length dress, taupe, made from crepe with bead work and a georgette jacket to match. Eric and Nic are both donning tuxedos...yep! The 12 year old wants to!
For semi-formal, we're going all out...get the use of those tuxes since they come with 2 shirts....and I plan to wear a pair of black slinky pants and a dusty rose with shots of silver top.
80's Night for Dancing...
Wow! I will feel just like I'm back in high school....can we all brush up on those breakdance moves in the next few days?
I might be game...we'll just play it by ear...Mickey's that is...
Blast it all...can't remember who said they were arriving on Saturday at 1pm....we, too, are landing at Orlando International at 12:22pm, then hopping one of the DCL busses to the terminal...maybe if we gang up on Lampskies we can manage to grab a few of those shrimps.
Well, I have 2 cruise errands to run before Nic arrives home from school so I'd better get moving...
See you all soon!
