Magic 11/20/04 Thanksgiving Cruisers?

Excuse my last two posts...am I making any sense??!!:upsidedow
Last night, my DH and I went out to dinner with another couple...we decided to eat at a new restaurant called "Pussers"...never heard of it! So anyway, we all ordered foofy drink...I myself had 2 glasses of PAINKILLERS. OH MY GOSH, now that was a foofy drink...I felt very foofy and goofy all over. After drinking that I grabbed my tall glass of water to wake up a little, feeling a little numb.:drinking1

Has anyone had such a drink??

We've got our "stuff" together. On my run today, I couldn't help from thinking about being on Castaway Cay.

As my DD and I were making cookies in her easybake oven (what fun; 3 cookies in 45 minutes) she said, "just think, next week this time, on the boat, we'll remember these yummy cookies we're making." Yep, as we're eating creme brulle' I'm sure I'll think of Barbie's Easy Bake sugar cookies!!

My DS (11) was wondering if there's any other 11-12 year old's cruisers that he could email? If so, you can shoot an email to grayhounddoogie@yahoo.com.

Are the DVC members in the group planning on attending the reception?

Silver7, not sure if we'll hit the 80's dance, that's something we haven't tried. I mentioned to my wife that we've never done the late night comedy either. I'd like to try and make that. She goes to be earlier than me... I can sleep when I get home :).

Doug:
I agree with you! You miss a lot if you go to bed too early...that's when the party starts!! Come on, tell your DW to loosen up, life is too short.
:cool1: :rockband:

As far as the reception, my DH and I would like to go. How about everyone else?

Silver7: As for the Painkillers, yes we should ask if they can make it and have everyone try it!!:teeth:

Tomorrow morning I'm going to start that "HOUSE CLEANING" before we leave. I gotta get that out of the way.

I'm dying for that Cabana massages....:faint:

How did you know about 80s night?

We never received our documents...don't know why but Disney said to get them at the dock. Is there anything major on them we need to know about ahead of time?

Anyone know when our group is meeting onboard?

Thanks for info :)

Ok, I am packed, so lets go!!

Oh wait, no one else in our family is packed, I guess I need to do that tomorrow::yes::

We are dvc members--I did not realize we had our own reception! We used our points for one of the rooms.

Wow Ladyhawke, I know you must be wondering why the docs never made it--did you book directly with Disney?

We are meeting on Deck 10 at the sailaway party on the dock side of the boat near the bar area.

Yes, there will be a DVC reception. You don't need to be booked on points. I can't remember which day. They usually have a few drinks, give away small prizes and hats and play some DVC trivia. It's a nice way to hear about some other DVC happenings.

You know, I am such a goof:crazy: I saw that in the navigator on our last cruise, and thought they were SELLING dvc:rolleyes:

Only 4 more days until we leave!!

Silver7, the DVC reps are there utimately for sales. 80% of folks who purchase, do additional add-ons. It's a lot of fun to meet other members and hear their experiences at other getaways.

I'm finding myself on these boards too much :).

What is pirate night? Are there special activites?

well, we tried again
Anybody with a CAT 4 room want to switch with us?
Our CAT 9 rooms are non connecting however next to each other.

And we booked this trip 9 months ago.

oh well, we will make do...
so what is the score
Can someone summerize the plans or do we just show up?
we can also help out on the res if needed
as we mentioned we should arrive around 12 noon

Hi everyone!
We are on the 11/20 cruise also for our 25th wedding anniversary. There are eight of us going to celebrate! Is it Saturday yet???????????????
Carol

Howdy! And welcome aboard Carol! Happy Anniversary!

I am going to post a list of the planned DIS Meets. Anyone have any other ideas for meets? Dancing at 80's night souns great. But I do not know which night that is.

How does the idea of a nightly DIS meet sound? We talked about meeting in Diversions. Any thoughts on that? I had thought about a different place each night, but I thought that might get too confusing.

"This is Willie. Leave me a message after the beep."

BEEEEP

" WILLIE MILLER!!!! THIS IS LAMPY!!! TODAY IS SUNDAY, 1100 AM!!
ONE WEEK FROM TODAY WE WILL BE SUNNING ON CASTAWAY CAY!"

The above was on my cell phone yesterday.

Too funny, Lampy! We are gonna have the best time.

Like I said above, I am putting together a final list of DIS Meets. Any other ideas, post em today! I think I will also make up a magnetic door sign with all of the DIS meets listed. In case someone forgets times, ect, they can just go by cabin 6584 and read it

Hi Turkey gang,

We've been so busy in the last few weeks-haven't posted in a while. We are getting so excited to go- and the packing thing will happen in the next day or 2- most things are ready except clothes- I guess we'll need those. Our flight arrives in FL at 1pm so ya better save a few shrimps for us.

My big question...What do you wear for 80's night (I love the 80's) ??? & don't have any Pirate attire either...

I am also up for the drink of the day challenge- although my mini bottles of Sky Vodka were the 1st thing I've packed....

See ya all soon,
Sarah

80's night..........divo and diva attire.........right? LOL

Got it Teresa! ressie rush, here I come!

Lampskies, when I got your message on my cell, I was also on the way to Home Depot! About 15 minutes after you left it. I had wanted to be packing, but instead I had some work to do on our "rent house" next door. Actually, I don't know why I call it a rent house. I never get any rent out of it. Usually a family member living there and not paying any rent! Right now it is my sister in law.Anyway, I was doing a plumbing job. And not in a very good mood about it! But when I listened to your message, a BIG SMILE came over my face, and I was in a much better mood! Still have not packed!
