WOW! That's quite a group you have going! Very exciting! WELCOME ABOARD!

I will add your information to our cruise website. :wave2:

BTW -- I'm looking at the deck layout -- did you mean 8016 instead of 8516? I can't find 8416.

Bridegirl,

I believe that DORISDAN has young-ens. I think they are daughters age 5 and 4.
Dorisdan? Are you still on the DIS?

GREAT website Melody! You should be flooded with sign ups soon!

This will be THE BEST Magic sailing!

So fun to find out about this thread! I will be there w/ my son, age 5, for the Thanksgiving cruise! I'm not sure what to expect but am really excited about going. We live in Ohio now but will be moving to California by the time the cruise sets sail. Nice to see the website for this cruise and hear about others going!

All best,

Marilyn

Welcome aboard Ladyhawke10!!!!!! I saw you had another thread going about a dis meet. On our last sailing we met on deck 10 at the sailaway party.

Just a gentle :bounce: to get us back on page one in case someone else is going to join us.

Are you poking fun at my early morning hour posting? If so, I'm a huge morning person and here in PA, that was 7:09am, not 6:09am. LOL :teeth: I don't think clearly at night, but early morning I'm as sharp as a tack! ::yes::

We always have late dinner seating onboard and if I don't get a snooze in during the afternoon, I almost fall asleep at dinner!

We are late night people.....I'm in the auto buisness and we are open 'till 9:00p.m. during the week. So many times I don't even get home 'till 10-11 o'clock. DD Jessica 14 we had to drag her our of bed on our last sailing at 11:00 a.m. ME.......I'll be up late, but I'll be on my verandah with a bloody mary as we dock!!!! Nothing like that smell of Carribean air and the sight of that new port on the horizon with the sun comming up.

The only time I was a late-nighter was in college (I don't know how the heck I did that!). I absolutely LOVE mornings! It seems like I can get so much done earlier in the morning. In fact, I recently changed my work hours from an 8:30am start to a 7:30am start because I was having trouble with being fully alert and enthusiastic when 3/4pm hits! :faint: Hubby says it's because I'm getting old -- I keep telling him I'm not old, I'm only 21! Of course, I've been 21 for many many years now but nobody has to know that!

Mornings onboard are so wonderful! Last cruise I had to go without hubby so I'd get up early (while my mom snoozed), walk up to deck 9, get a cup of coffee and enjoy the ocean air. There is absolutely nothing in the world like the smell, look and ambiance of the sun rising over the beautiful blue ocean. Amazing. THEN, I'd stroll around until the Rainforest at the Spa opened up at 8am and relax in the steam rooms. THAT is pure paradise to me -- my happy place! ::yes::

That is the main reason why I booked 2 rooms. The cat. 6 and 11. DDs can now sleep in "the cave" cat. 11, and I can leave that verandah door wide open and smell that air. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE STROLLING UP TO DECK 9 WHITH THE SUN COMMING UP!!! There aren't many people.....the coffee is fresh, and, oh, that Carribean air!!!!

You guys are killing me with this stuff! Can I change to a cruise next week?!!! The scenes you describe sound like my favorite part of any vacation. The fun stuff is great, but the quiet times are , well, magic.

Lampskies, we did the same thing with a cat 6 for us, and cat 11 for the girls.
