Made our decision.... we are buying!!!

As I posted in another thread (but I wanted to share with everyone), my DH and I made the decision to buy 210 points at SSR. We saw the presentation on our last day (Wed) and fell in love. Being an accountant, I just couldn't buy right then and there.... had to come home, run some numbers, think it over, see if a cooling off period would make me change my mind, discussed with my parents, and asked for advice right here.

So, after all that, we still want to join the club! My guide is on vacation but left me the number of another guide who could help me if I decided to buy. Well, I called about an hour ago and left her a message. I haven't received a call back and now I'm scared that I will lose the promotion.... so now I'm on the phone with them trying to make sure I don't lose my chance!

I'm so excited.... even though I won't close until April 2005, I can't wait!

You won't regret your decision. The years of planning and fun and memories will be worth every penny you are investing. Don't be surprised if you end up in the add-on-itis support group here on the DIS. Let us know when you have signed on the dotted line so we can send an official "Welcome Home!"

Congrats on your future purchase, I think you will be very pleased. Just think 50 years of vacations at your finger tips. even if you took 10 yr's to pay it off that's still 40 yr's of paid vacation (minus the maint fees) not a bad deal,

We just pulled the trigger a month ago after almost 20 trips to the Dis. We haven't even made our first trip as DVC members, but have made 2 ressies and we already are thinking "Why did we wait so long"? And we're also thinking "when do we add-on"??????
