Made my reservation at ASMusic

I made my reservations the other day at ASMusic. The next day I called to speak to someone about my needs. I told her that I would rather have a ground floor room and needed it to be in Calypso or Jazz due to mobility issues. So, after a few minutes of her doing her work she said she put in a request for a ground floor room. I then asked her if she put in the request for the closer buildings. So, after telling her the buildings for the 2nd time she goes about doing her work and then finally says that she noted my request on the reservation. I also asked her if I could get a shower bench/chair. She asked me if I wanted a handicapped room and I told her I didn't think I needed a handicapped room as long as I could get a shower bench/chair to use in a regular room with a tub. She had to call and find out about that and then finally came back to me and said they would have one in the room for me when I arrive.
Then I went and looked at my reservation again online and all it says is ground floor. There is no indication of building or close to the main building. There is also nothing about the shower bench/chair.
Should I call back and ask if these requests have actually been noted for the resort or do they just not display this information in the online reservation system?
I also asked her if there was a pin attached to my name and there wasn't :(

I'm not sure if you paid for preferred location, but Calypso is all preferred and comes with an additional charge. Jazz is not preferred and is right next to Calypso. When we've not paid for preferred we usually get Jazz. I'm not sure about the notations, but all requests are just requests and not guaranteed. You will want to talk with the CM who checks you in to make sure your requests have been accommodated. There will be no problem getting your shower bench, but the locations might be more of a challenge depending on how busy the resort is when you check in.
 
I called yesterday because I had a PIN that I could apply to my reservation and I asked the CM what was noted under the requests because I couldn't see it online and she did verify that it was all there. I know they aren't guaranteed, I just wanted to make sure they were still out there for them to see when they do the room assignments.

Sounds good! I would also ask upon check in if they can tell you where your room is located. If for some reason you're not in Jazz ( or Calypso if preferred) then you can always ask if there IS a room in the section you'd prefer, and reiterate that it's a request due to mobility challenges. I've had my room assignment changed at check-in before.
