Mad T Party in DCA, Coming June 15th.

I am SOOOOOO excited about this...its the one place where its appropriate for grandma to take her kids clubbin

Wow sooooo looking forward to this!!! I plan to just suck in the vibe, drink and play games more than dance, but it sounds like its going to be fun. It also sounds like its going to be closer to Glowfest festive atmosphere than ElecTRONica which I liked both btw, but Glowfest was just more fun!!

As much as the decorations are an eyesore in the day, at night it looks like that baby is going to come alive!!!

Man, its going to be SO MUCH to do at DCA this summer and you got great night spots like PP, CL, BVS and Mad T Party to keep the vibe going all night!

I just love the fact I can hang out there until my FP for RSR is up and hit that! Whoever thought DCA would be this cool?

It is outdoors in the Hollywood Backlot so I don't think so.

It looks like the Mad T Party will soft open tomorrow night (Friday, May 25).

Here's what Al Lutz posted at MC:

"EDITOR’S NOTE 5/24: The walls have now come down at the Carthay Circle Theater, and the attractive building
is fully revealed for the first time this morning. More walls around the nearby fountain will be down by Friday
morning, offering a sneak peak at the top-notch quality and design found along the rest of Buena Vista Street. The
remaining walls will be in place until mid June. Stop by for a look on your way to the soft opening of Mad T Party on
Friday evening. ..."

I think some people are forgetting that all things Alice and Wonderland have quite the cult following from a lot of people. I, for one, love this idea, and feel like it has more long term appeal than Glowfest or ElecTRONica.

I have teenagers. They love all things Alice, Cheshire Cat, Wonderland, etc. The daughter will be beyond thrilled.

Don't know if anyone else made it to the first preview tonight, but it was pretty awesome. I never made it to Glow Fest, only elecTRONica, but this was crazy. It seemed much more thought out between everything they had going on (the flamingos were my favorite for anyone who did go). It's turning out much better than I thought it would.
