Mad at Mail Carrier

I'm very angry at the mail carrier who delivered our mail today. I wish I had caught him in "the act." I'd have rubbed his nose in it like I would my dog's. Although, my dogs would have behaved better.

I noticed that there was a poop trail walking up the sidewalk in front of my house and then onto my porch. On the edge of my CARPETED porch, he (typically men deliver to my neighborhood) chooses to wipe his foot off onto the carpeted edge of my porch! :furious: :furious: :furious:

I had to get back to work, but now I'll have to clean up my porch when I get home later.

I'm angrier because I know that it wasn't from one of my dogs. They don't do their business outside of our backyard and even then, we pick up after them. That means it's from a neighbor's dog. :furious: :furious: :furious:

Why be mad at your mail carrier? As far as he knows, it's from your dog. How is he to distinguish between dog poop around the neighborhood?

I think she is mad that he chose to wipe it on her carpet rather than on the grass. I don't blame the OP, I would be ticked as well.

What a jerk he was! He should have waited to wipe it else where instead of your porch, no matter who's dog it belonged to. :furious: And if he was walking on the sidewalk instead of through peoples lawn, he wouldn't have had a problem on his shoe in the first place.

How does one no it was a wipe, rather than a step and fall off.
Because of the angle of the squish. It was definitely a wipe. Large debris on top of step with smear on the edge. Eww, the fact that I typed this is as gross as the act itself!

I agree, he shouldn't be walking in yards if he doesn't want to get his shoes dirty.

It wasn't the fact that it was my dog or someone else's. I'm mad that he couldn't have wiped off in the grass or at the edge of a sidewalk instead of into my carpet. Even if it wasn't carpeted, the fact that it was the top step onto someone's porch is just as bad.

Scoop some poo up in a pie pan and slam him in the face the next time he walks up! :happytv:
Thanks for making me smile. The image of me doing that is good enough. I'll spare him though.

Yuk! I hate picking up my dog's poop, but come on, how hard is it. Especially in a neighboorhood. ANd he may have gotten it from the sidewalk or the street, some people won't pick up no matter where the dog does it.

If you confront him, he will probably deny it, claiming it was someone else. Just chalk it up to a bad experience and hope it doesn't happen again.

Looky those cute Pugs! Aren't they the BEST dogs?

I'm sorry to laugh, that's just so funny!

As for the situation, I'd be super annoyed too, yet I'm not sure what can be done about it. Unless you caught him while doing it, there may not be a whole lot you can do.

I don't know if I can even type a response because I'm laughing so hard that tears are rolling down my face! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

OMG! I went back and read the original post and it DOES sound like you're saying you're mad because the MAILMAN pooped on your porch! :lmao:

Okay, I'm better now. OP, I apologize for laughing at this quote, and I know what the mailman did, (scraping, not pooping), was certainly NOT funny!

Devils advocate here, but your mail carrier delivers mail 6 days a year during rain, sleet and snow. He walks in the sun, in the shade, through yards, on the sidewalks, and all over you whole entire neighborhood.

If he has done this many times before, I think I might be angry. But if it was one time - even though he made a mess - it most likely was unitentional. He may have even thought it was mud. Unless he bent down to sniff it, who knows? While he shoudn't have wiped it right there, I think I might cut him a bit of slack - it's a pretty thankless job that every single one of us relies on every day.

It was wrong no matter how you look at it, even if it was mud! You don't wipe something that thick onto someones porch steps, it wasn't like he was going in and would bring it in the house with him/her, they were off to the next porch.
