Just wanted to share my GOOD experience with DisneyDirect...

I ordered matching Americana shirts a while ago, then ordered some blue logo shirts. Sames sizing, no problems. Then when they went on sale even more, I decided to order a red set (2 adults, 2 children); when they arrived, they were all 1-2 sizes smaller as compared to the other two designs. I couldn't believe it! They were the right size on the tag, but were inches smaller! (4 inches in width on a 8 YR is a HUGE problem!) Just because they were red?! So I called DD and the CM said he was sorry, that was odd, and I must have gotten a bad batch. Offered to send me larger sizes...FOR FREE. AND I get to keep the others to share or give away! I haven't recieved them yet, but I'll let you know if the don't come. I was VERY pleased with my outcome, and now I have some extra shirts for FREE!

I ordered on 6/29 and got mine 7/11 and I wasn't too happy with the quality as compared to the past. Also when I complained about the delay in the shipment I got no explaination or appology just a canned email response.

I know this is a little off topic, but I wanted to comment on the "delayed" shipping....unless you had it expressed to you, I'm not sure I understand why you feel it was delayed. If you ordered it on 6/29 (though on another thread you said you ordered it on June 30th), chances are that it could be shipped on 6/30. Juune 30th was a Thursday. It can take up to 8 business days to get an item delivered to your door once it has been shipped (according to the DisneyDirect website...although UPS always states that it can take up to 10 business days) . July 2-4 was a holiday weekend, so there would have been no deliveries. July 9-10 was a weekend, so no deliveries. That leaves you with June 30th, July 1st, the 5th-8th, and the 11th. So it took 7 business days to get delivered to you (6 business days if you ordered it on the 30th as you said in another thread). For regular shipping, that's pretty average across the board. So like I said, unless you chose to have it express delivered to you, I can't understand exactly why you feel 7 business days to be delivered would be considered "delayed" and why you felt you should have received an explanation or apology for delivering in their stated time frame.

I am mad too- I got the Tink tree skirt only to find once the box arrived - they were out of it!!

Sorry to hear that there are so many problems with Disney Direct, but I too wanted to share a good experience, seeing as how the OP was able to have her problem fixed by simply calling.

I ordered a collectors set of Christmas ornaments from Disney Deals. There were five to a set and when I received my order one of the ornaments was a repeat (two of a kind.) I called and they took my complaint and told me that they wold send it to the correct department for consideration. About 5 days later I received an email stating that they would be sending me out an entire new se,t at no charge and to keep the others. Shipment arrived about 5 days after that.

Once you guys get done being mad at disneydirect, you might want to go check out the new merchandise. Not alot, but I was getting a little bored with the sale and wanted to see some new stuff. I've only had good experiences with DD and know when I order sale stuff, it sometimes runs out before my orders are filled. I truly don't see any other places we can go to get our adult clothes and collectibles and would really miss disneydirect if they went away. Hopefully they don't go the way of the Mall Disney Stores and then we have to wait for those WDW trips to buy our "stuff".
