cont... from previous post
So we woke up again about 1230. I felt much better after sleeping off the big day yesterday and the food coma I fell into... I knew Scot's flight was coming in at 4:30 and we had dinner reservations at Coral Reef at 8:30. It was not really enough time to go and do anything big (especially the way we move) so we decide to get in some pool time. I knew once Scot got there that the schedule would be a little more packed and I figured it would be good to relax a little before that happened. So we packed up and headed to the pool. I parked myself at the pirate pool this time. Isobel wanted to play in here and Katie wanted to slide, so this was the perfect place to read and sip my Diet Coke ( I love refillable mugs). I need a pirate pool at my house! Talk about keeping a five year old entertained... and wearing her out.
We hung around the pool for a few hours and towards 3pm had a couple of snacks. I knew we had BIG ressies for tonight so I didn't want to eat anything more substantial.

We were getting a little pink (Mostly Isobel and I were, Katie can stay outside forever and just have the perfect tan.) I told the girls we needed to shower up and get ready for Daddy to get here. At this point Isobel jumps up and down and says
YAY! Daddy is here to save us!
What??? I was like what to do you mean SAVE us?
She said... Well Daddy is a police officer and saves people...
Oh... Ok... I mean really.... pfffhhhht... I thought I did a pretty good job as a single parent.

But she didn't mean it like that
But Scot got a huge laugh out of it. I told the girls that if they got ready we could spend some time in the hammock and playing with the buckets by the lake until Scot called for us to come and get him. (the kids meals at the resort come in a sand bucket with a pail)
So we were all ready and headed for the hammock. Katie and Isobel started making sand castles and I read.
Katie joining in...
At this point some boys started playing down by the water too and within a couple of minutes had commandeered Isobel's bucket. Ridiculous. So I calmly walked over from my comfy hammock and said politely
Could you please give my daughter back her bucket?
We don't have her bucket

I am not a hugely patient person for rude children. I know I teach high school so that is kind of an oxymoron. But, my students would know better! I said, yes, you did, I saw you take it.
Then they just laughed at me.
Oh no they didn't ....there was about to be some smack down.
So I turned around to find their parents and low and behold. The idiot parents had knocked my book out of the hammock and were swinging in it!! Oh!!! I was on fire!!!. But I remembered where I was... and my kids were there... and I told Isobel and Katie to gather their things and I walked over and gathered my book. I may have said out loud... That some people are completely rude and obnoxious (or something like that)

I promptly went back to Port Royale and asked the manager to give Isobel a new bucket. (which he was happy to do! I love Disney staff) I held my temper... Which usually is what Scot keeps me doing... He is the peacemaker. And moved to another hammock..... Far away from the jerks...
(It is funny when you handle situations correctly how your kids will react to other situations that are obviously rude. I hope to think they learn a good example) Or I would have whipped those kids tushes....
Scot called at about 4:45 and said am I supposed to have a ME ticket? hahah oops. Yes it is in my bag in the room.

Uh oh. I never pulled them out becuse I went throught the whole car fiasco... But being Disney they just loooked him up and he was on his way to CBR. He called about 30 minutes later and said he was at customs house and to come and pick him up.
YAY!!!! Daddy is here

2 more hands!!!! 1 more temper!!!!! Some adult conversation that doesn't revolve around spongebob!!!!

MacDaddy is with his MacDiddies again!
