We had that problem since last week but we called the internet provider and it's not done it since Monday.
I love Apple, they go above and beyond call of duty. I had an issue with something with an Itunes and they were so nice about it.
We were told that some people remove their WEP number, and as much as we hated to do that, we did it to see if it would stop doing it.
About five minutes later I was knocked off again.

So... we were off to buy the new router, since I 100% depend on the internet for my work. That's when I found my sick bat, that I posted about in another thread!

I've been online for about two hours now, so all seems good!
You're lucky you didn't have to spend the money!
