M.E. Question - Late Night Arrival

Good afternoon everyone!

Can't believe I didn't have an account here. Five years of reading... wow. Very suprised.

Anyway, our little ragtag family is taking a trip at the end of January for a change of pace. hey, even if it's 20 in Florida, still better then the -20 here in Wisconsin .

Since we have to pay for an extra ticket this time (our 2 year olds first trip!) we looked for good airline deals, and found a great one. But, we don't get into Orlando until 11pm at night. I had heard ME has a time cutoff for luggage pickup, which leads to this question, bearing in mind we do have a reservation for the day of arrival, even though we don't get to orlando until 11pm:


If we either ship a days worth of clothes, or even have one days worth in our carry-ons, will the ME personal pick up our luggage the next day and bring it to our hotel room? Or do we "have" to pick it up at the airport ourselves?

Your checked bags will be delivered to you in the morning, the day after you arrive. Be sure to pack a change of clothes and anything you will need for the night and next morning in your carryon bags. It's always a good idea to do this..no matter where you are headed. Airlines can misdirect luggage, so if you pack what you need in a carryon, you won't be badly impacted if it happens to you.

Baggage handling does stop at 10pm....checked bags will be collected first thing in the morning and then delivered to the resorts.
