Lynx bus to Universal question

To anybody who has ever tried the using the Linx bus to get to Universal...how long did it take you? How does it compare to taking Mears?

I understand that MEars is about $14 pp round trip. And the bus is like $3.50 for an all day pass....But how to they compare time wise? Any other issues? Will the Mears pick you uup at your resort vs. having to get to TTC to pick up the Linx bus.

Mears will pick you up at your resort.

I've never taken Lynx to Universal, but I've read that it involves going downtown and a transfer, and takes an extensive amount of time.

Now Lynx to Seaworld is easy because it is a direct bus (Lynx #50)
