Woo hoo! Yesterday I received my package from Fed Ex with all of my Disney documents from WDTC and was inspired to do a pre-trip report! :cool1: It came in a nice little pouch with Tinkerbell on everything, and also has the 50th Anniversary logo on it.

A big thanks to Marla at Dreams Unlimited who booked the package for myself (34) and BF (41)! :cheer2: Really, anyone on the DIS should look into booking all of their Disney stuff through DU. They are so awesome! When I first booked, they only had standard view rooms available. Later on, when I checked the Disneyland website, they had pool views available, and at a lower cost! I simply e-mailed Marla and asked her if she could make the change, and she did it the same day.

BF and I will be driving from Vegas on Tue. Sept. 27 and will be staying at DLH resort/pool view for 4 nights. We got the 4th night free package, and also added on a 50th Anniversary package for about $90/pp. Our total with everything was $1375.95, including 4-day park hoppers. Without the 50th Anniversary add-on, it would have been $1185.

For anyone interested, this is what the basic package (resort/pool view) included and that's in my travel documents:
* 2 50th/Tinkerbell logo luggage tags
* A 2005 California Fun Book (coupons) which really have some good stuff in it! There are quite a few 10% off coupons for a variety of restaurants. If anyone wants specifics, let me know and I'll be happy to do a list.
* 2 4-day park hopper tickets that can be used for one early admission to Fantasyland, and a $10 ESPN Game Card for each of us.
* 2 vouchers for preferred seating at It's Tough to be a Bug, Muppet Vision 3D, and the Adladdin show at DCA
* 2 vouchers for a collectible pin and landyard
* 2 vouchers for Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness
* 2 pins with Tinkerbell/50th design

The 50th Anniversary package includes the following:
* 1 5x7 Disney Friends Souvenir Photo (there is a ticket that looks like an admission ticket to be redeemed for the photo)
* 2 Walk in Walt's Footsteps tickets for the morning after our arrival (valued at $49/each)
* Voucher for a crystal 50th anniversary commemorative frame
* 50th Anniversary Edition Disneyland park map
* 50th Anniversary Commemorative Lithograph of Walt walking in front of the Castle

These are our plans:

Tue. Sept. 27
Leave Vegas by 6 p.m.
Arrive Disneyland Hotel around 10:30 a.m. and check-in
Will probably start off at Disneyland and maybe hop over to DCA

Wed. Sept. 28
9 a.m. Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour
Again, no firm plans

Thu. Sept. 29
Go to Disneyland.
11:30 a.m. seating at Blue Bayou

Fri. Sept. 30
9:00 p.m. Fantasmic! Riverside Dessert Buffet

Sat. Oct. 1
Depart DLH
Go shopping at Knott's CA Marketplace
Shopping at the Grove at Orange
Drive back to Vegas

As you can see, we're going to wing it for the most part. When we get there we might make more PS.

Will post trip reports when I return! :teeth:

Initial quotes must be done online (no obligation to get a quote), but after you book, they give you a phone number if you prefer to speak to someone. Personally, one of the reasons I enjoy their services is because I can do everything through e-mail and I can do it at my convenience rather than having to block out some time for a phone call.

(Btw, I don't know anyone who works for them, nor do I work there myself -- I just really think they are great people who provide great service! :goodvibes )
