Most days breakfast will be in the Pop Cafeteria, with a day for Chef Mickey's. But I was wondering if anybody had thoughts on the other meals and what I'm currently thinking about. We are planning on driving down on a Friday, which means we won't get there until mid afternoon (3:00 ish) so we're starting with dinner our first night and we'll be leaving the following Friday after breakfast.

arrival Friday: Les Chefs de France for dinner
Sat at MK: lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern, dinner at Cinderella (hopefully, I need a back up plan)
Sun at Epcot: lunch at Sunshine Seasons, dinner at Le Cellier
Mon at Seaworld, but dinner at Raglan Road
Tuesday at Hollywood Studios: lunch at Hollywood and Vine, dinner at Paradiso 37
Wednesday at AK: Yak and Yeti for lunch, Boma for dinner
Thursday (more MK): Tony's Town Square for lunch and Citricos (just mom and dad for our anniversary) for dinner

Does anybody have any particular good or bad experience with toddlers/preschoolers in any of these places? I've eaten at several of them before but Le Chefs de France, Le Cellier and both of the AK meals are new places for me. Also, I've never eaten at Citricos, but it'll just be me and DH, so I'm not worried about the kids. FWIW, the 2yo will likely mostly eat off my plate (she does this now typically and has a very tiny appetite) and the 4yo will be fine with most kids menu offerings. I don't know how his appetite will be though, as it varies day to day.

We had dinner at Chefs de France last week. The food was good and the service was fast! My daughters all enjoyed the experience.

We have eaten at Yak & Yeti during our last two trips. The food was good, service was quick, and there were many things for the kids to look at.

We all enjoyed our meal at Boma too. Due to a transportation error (completely my fault), we arrived an hour late for our ADR. It was after 9:00 (p.m.!) by the time we were seated. The kids did great and we all enjoyed the food.

We have found that all of the restaurants are very accommodating when it comes to kids. You'll have a great time. Enjoy!

Not to throw a wrench in your planning, but when we traveled with DD 5, we found the best "quality time" at meals was breakfast and lunch. By dinner, we were all happy at the food court because we were worn out.

Our DD is an early riser :tinker: so we had plenty of time to have a nice breakfast and still make rope drop. We only ate TS dinners on the nights were were going to stay at the parks late.

Just a thought!! Hope your trip is great!!!!

When my kids were the age of your kids, they loved Teppan Edo at Epcot (they still do). They were fascinated by the chef and the tricks he was performing throughout the meal. We LOVE Boma so I'm sure you will have a fantastic time there. After you finish with dinner there make sure to out to the savanna and check out the animals with the night vision goggles! The kids love it! I hope you have a great trip!

sounds like a great plan. We are also going with our 2 boys (who will be 4 and 19 months by the trip). The biggest thing is making sure you choose your times well based on their nap and/or bedtime schedules. With our boys, we know if they are well rested and hungry, we have a good hour but not much more to eat.

Have a:laundy: wonderful vacation!

We have night owls, unfortuantely. Actually, I think my son simply does not require any form of sleep. He might be part vampire or something...

I didn't know you could do that with night vision goggles! Awesome! I did consider Teppan Edo, but the last time we went to a Japanese place my son was somewhat freaked out by the fire (like the onion volcano and stuff like that) so I thought we'd hold off.

Good point. I'll have to guess about my daughter's naps though, since she will probably not have the same nap schedule in a year. Also, I
m not sure how just being at Disney will affect the nap schedule (my son has almost given his up, but I expect he'll need down time).

Thank you though!

Tony's was really bad for everyone when we went with a 2 and 4 yo. Everything seemed crowded and overstimulating in a bad way. Or maybe that was just me...

I think you have some excellent choices. My only suggestions would be 1900 Park Fare if you can't get the CRT dinner reservation. Same Cinderella, plus stepsister high comedy. Then, Tusker House for lunch at AK. If you make an ADR between 1pm and 1:45pm, you get priority seating at the 3:15 Finding Nemo show. As in: No waiting in line for a long while with a 2 and 4 yo. My girls really enjoyed the Nemo show at 2 and 4.
