Do you make a reservation for a sit down meal for lunch at the magic kingdom or prefer to just grab and go?
If grab and go where and what do you suggest?

We go back and forth between TS for lunch or dinner depending on our plans for the day. Whether we do TS or QS for lunch though I don't usually eat on the go as it's a hotter time of the day so I prefer to sit down in the AC and cool off for a bit. For QS we prefer Be our Guest or Columbia Harbour House.

We love eating lunch at Columbia Harbour House because it's the best of both worlds. We don't need reservations, so it's a little quicker, but we can always sit down and eat in the AC and take as much time as we want. Plus the food is good!

If we eat at MK, which is rare, we normally just leave and either go to a resort or to Epcot, we either eat at Pecos Bills or Skipper's Canteen. If we eat at Skipper's it's more of a lupper than lunch (late lunch early supper).

We are doing a sit-down lunch at Be Our Guest on our upcoming trip. On our previous trip, we enjoyed Pecos Bill. One idea I thought about trying out was to make the latest reservation for breakfast (like at Crystal Palace) and make it a "brunch" so that we could take full advantage of rope-drop.

We usually do BOG and Pecos Bill. Last year though we tried LTT and enjoyed it so we are doing BOG & LTT this year. We like the ressies. Pecos Bill is good too and you don't need the ressie and we've always been able to find a seat. We go in mid to late August and need that AC break :)

We prefer sit down for lunch, and when available, we like LTT. Or we may escape for a little while and go to Whispering Canyon Cafe or Grand Floridian Cafe.

QS in MK we do Columbia Harbor House. But more often than that, we do LTT.

To us, MK is a park all about the rides - and indeed it has the most rides of any Disney park. Because of this, we only grab and go for lunch at MK. A park like Epcot with the World Showcase, where the emphasis is on enjoying the best of other cultures, including the food - we'll book a sit down lunch there. We look at it as though we are doing an attraction there.

I like the quick service at MK better than the table service places, so also quick esp for lunch for me! I like Casey's and Columbia Harbour House but will stop at whatever I am close to at the time.

It depends on when I'm planning to eat. If I think I'm going to eat during normal lunch hours, I get an ADR. If I plan to be dining at an off time, then I'll QS. I hate trying to find a table at QS at the lunch rush hour.

We did an early lunch at the Plaza (11:05 ADR) and really enjoyed it. Our group was forced to slow down, enjoy the AC, and take a break from the stimulation of the park. While at MK we also had lunch at BOG, CHH and Pinocchio Village Haus. Sitting upstairs at CHH was nice, it was calm for a QS and had some variety of choices.

Columbia Harbor House:) - if it is really hot and crowded and you need a break, take a boat ride over to Grand Floridian and eat at Gasparilla Grill or go to Poly and eat at Captain Cooks or Contemporary and eat at Contempo...all are good and you can walk around the air conditioned hotel and be away from the heat of the day - allow 1.5 hrs and you'll feel refreshed:)

Another fan of CHH! We don't really care for the TS eateries in MK (though we've done CRT & BOG for the kids.) There are much better restaurants at the monorail resorts but I think leaving the park for lunch can only be justified if you're doing a Rope-drop to close day. Then the break of a couple of hours is most welcome.:earsboy:
