Hi Everyone,
I was wondering which seating would be better and more fun, lunch or dinner? I am gonna give it a try even though I know a lot of the reviews haven't been too good, I am really wanting to go....so I was wondering which one seems to be more active and fun...
Thanks

We went for lunch for the first time last October. We had a blast - Mat was our server and he was soooooo funny :lmao:

The food was good - too much for us and we couldn't eat it all.

The servers did a great job entertaining the guests and we all said that we would definitely go back again.

Dinner tends to be "more" lively but you get much of the same at lunch and dinner.... It is a great time either way

Bad reviews? This is one of our favorite places to go! We rode the boat in the RAIN from Magic Kingdom just to have dinner here.

The food is really good - not fancy, but good down home food and the waitstaff is very entertaining. Our 4 year old thought it was very funny and lots of fun even though she was hesitant to participate at first.

I've never been for lunch. Dinner is a blast!

I tend to agree. At the dinner, the servers seem to step it up a notch. For every bad review there are 20 good ones. It is a lot of fun and good food

Exactly... Home-style cooking, done really well....You must know going in that the food is simple... The menu is small... But the food is really good.... We have enjoyed every meal we have had there... We have been for breakfast, lunch and dinner... And we loved it every time!

Can't speak for breakfast, but we did have dinner there last June and had a great time:goodvibes , waiter was ok but not great, there were lots of better one's!!. Our food was lovely :goodvibes

We have done both, and dinner seems to be far more fun than lunch. You must have what they used to call the Banana Dust Bowl--not sure what they call it now--for dessert. We go for it everytime! Delicious.

We are going for lunch on a Saturday, I hope we get the 'full' treatment!!:rotfl2:

When you check in, should you tell them you to be in on all the action, or ask for a certain area of the restaurant?;)

I would tell them you would like the action... The back area near the fireplace is very quiet... So you would likely not want to sit there.

We were there for lunch in November, and while I had heard of alot of "antics", we got nothing. In fact it was actually quiet that day, it could be because it wasn't very crowded. It was our first time there and probably last time. The food was so-so and the all you can drink milkshakes tasted funny. For example, they tasted like they had mixed up the flavors. I don't think the food was bad or anything and our waiter was attentive, but it just wasn't that special for us. But truly, every one has a different experience.

Sorry you did not have a great experience... Shocked that the milkshakes were not good... We love them... Never tasted funny... I guess every place has an off day now and again... Don't write it off... We always give a place two chances....Try a breakfast or dinner... Hopefully you will have a better experience.
