Sorry - I know this has been discussed before, but I can't seem to locate the answer.

What are the other lunch choices when you get on board on the first day besides Topsiders? Are they all buffet?

Tracey

Yes, all buffet/ fast food, no sitdown to order service till Dinner.

Lunch is served buffet style in Topsiders (Beach Blanket) and Parrot Cay. Pinochio's has pizza, Plutos has burgers, hot dogs, salad (?). I think room service may be available once the staterooms are cleaned, but I.m not sure.

I am 99% sure room service is available, until 3pm when they suspend it in anticipation of the safety drill.

100% sure on room service
We did it last week

We do enjoy Topsiders but had the opportunity to eat at Parrot Cay - it was wonderful! We also had our lunch there when we were at CC. Again, wonderful!!!

On the 3 day Wonder, are the lunch choices both buffet too? My kids won't do buffets, so I guess we'll have burgers or room service?

3 day has the embarkation buffet on the first day as well. Your kids will love Plutos and Pinoccio's though, if they don't want to do the buffet. You could fill up on the tastey buffet and then head to Pluto's to get the kids hotdogs/hamburgers/nuggets and then grab a table near the pools.

My kids won't do buffets

Why won't your kids "do buffets?" Just curious. There's a huge variety of food available. Even my extraordinarily picky/stubborn 3 year old found a few things to eat (although we did get him a slice of pizza after the lifeboat drill.)

What lunch place do you recommend to go to once you get on? I know I'll be so excited, I won't eat much. But thought maybe there was a fav. out there from the experts. Don't want to miss anything.

Thanks

If the weather is nice, go to the outside deck at Topsiders - atmosphere is wonderful. If rainy or cool, stay inside at Topsiders or go over to Parrot Cay.

We were among the first to board on 9/28, and we were instructed to go to Parrot Cay. (Beach Blanket was opening a bit later.)

It was fine when we got there, but all of a sudden, there was a huge line. If that's the case when you sail, I would say to go to Topsiders/Beach Blanket as they're better equipped to handle crowds.
