So, my b/f and I both agreed to take each other to at least one sit-down restaurant during our upcoming trip this November. We gave each other a list of places we'd like to try. On his list was Kona Cafe (don't worry, it wasn't on mine too LOL) and I was reading over the menu and it sounded pretty good.

So has anyone been there and can you really tell me what it's like (food, atmosphere, staff)?? And we will most likely go for lunch and not dinner and we're not looking for romantic or anything. And can I make ADR's now??

Thanks a lot for any suggestions or reviews of this restaurant :)

The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is great although it can be quieter at lunchtime and the staff are great too. We first tried Kona on our honeymoon at the Poly and now it is a must do even if we are not staying there. Go enjoy, I'm sure yuo will love it.

We did lunch at Kona on the day we left last year. The food was really good with good portions (but I don't remember what exactly we got). The server was super friendly and the restaurant was practically empty. I would definitely return.

Kona is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. :cool1:

Some things we've had at lunch that we've enjoyed are the burger, pulled pork sandwich and beef teriyaki salad. :thumbsup2

Kona is very casual and laid back. We have not done lunch there only dinner. I would really reccomend it. The food was delicious and the service was great.
