I seem to see a trend of people who have enjoyed Coral Reef for lunch and not so many good comments from dinner diners.

I would be willing to try it for lunch, but I want to hear what people had that they thought was good off the lunch menu.

TIA!

I've eaten there for both lunch and dinner and much preferred lunchtime. Actually, I had the identical meal for lunch that I'd had at dinner, and except for it being a couple dollars cheaper, no difference. I had the Mahi Mahi for my entree, creamy lobster soup for my appetizer (yum!), and chocolate wave for dessert. A few months ago, when I had the chocolate wave there, it was different, not nearly as good, so I think I'll try something else next time. DDIL had the strip steak and said it was good, as did DS with the catfish.

I agree that the menus are almost identical, but the prices are more reasonable for lunch. Any of the fish entrees are fantastic. Sometimes I feel guilty eating the fish and watching them swim... :confused3 , but that's just me!

I got the same creamy lobster soup, spicy catfish with grits, and chocolate wave that are on the dinner menu. All are highly recommended!!!! :cheer2:

For lunch there I generally get the Caesar Salad and a dessert.
I dont like heavy lunches but the food there has always made me happy.

DH and I had the Catfish and Cheesy Grits. We both enjoyed it very much. My DS13's favorite thing was the Lobster Bisque. I also had an Octopus Juice cocktail that really hit the spot on a hot day.

I wasn't wowed by either appetizer (crab claw option and crab cakes). However the entrees were wonderful: Mom had the Tilapia and I had the BBQ Salmon sandwich. I don't even like BBQ sauce, but I liked this dish! Nephew ate his whole cheese pizza, sliced apples and had fun with the make your own sundae. Mom had the cheescake. One of the best parts of the meal is the sourdough bread an butter served there, we got a second basket, no other details available.;)

The lunch and dinner menus are different and I hope to return of dinner next trip.

We enjoyed the catfish with cheese grits and the chocolate wave. DH got the lobster salad and did not enjoy it, it was like tuna salad on lettuce.
