Luggage Tags???

Hi,

You were all right ! I told you I had a phone message saying my tickets were ready for collection and the next day I went to collect them.

However I got just 2 tickets, I asked about luggage tags and the assistant said I would get them at the airport???

I am flying with monarch.

Do you think this is for safety reasons? I have always recieved luggage tags with tickets on previous trips?

im sure all will be ok mrs jobba.i do agree though that all my luggage tags before have been with me before i got to the airport.

try ringing monarch direct at luton airport.

We are flying with Monarch on week tomorrow (yippee) to the Rosen Centre, we booked through Going Places and Thomsons. We are flying from Newcastle.

The booklet that Thomsons gave us with the tickets in, at the back had several ready printed luggage labels with everyone's details on them. Going Places also gave us 4 extra tags.

I don't think Monarch will be issuing any tags at the airport.

It's seems very odd that they would issue you with luggage tags at the airport. Surely the booking agents have more important things to do. A lot of the time the passengers have to fill these in before hand, then place them on their luggage.

I'm travelling with Thomas Cook - but on my last couple of trips with them, they only send out 2 luggage labels, one for each of us. I'm one of these
people who thinks the more labels the better. So everytime I go to the airport I always pick some up from the thomas cook and virgin desks.

Hopefully they will have preprinted yours so you don't have to fuss about
filling them in when you get to the airport.
