Luggage Tags?

Beginning travel on January 30; taking DCL cruise on February 20. Checked with DCL & no luggage tags have been sent yet.
-About how long before your cruise do you usually receive them?

If we've already left before receiving the tags, we will be staying at a WDW resort & taking a transfer to the port--
-Do the bags ride on the bus with you? Or are they sent ahead separately?
-Can we get luggage tags to fill in from a DCL rep at the resort? The night before? The next morning? Doesn't bell service usually pick up bags very early...can we give them the bags without DCL tags & tag them at the bus?

Thanks. I wish DCL would make it easy & convenient by having 'print at home' bag tags like every other cruise line...

Our cruise is on 1/12 and we have not received our tags yet. I suppose that it is service desk for us!

I believe when you check in for your transfers at the resort, they will have blank tags there (as the porters do at the port). You simply write your room number on them then, and strap them on.

Luggage tags have been a hit or miss lately. We have two staterooms for a cruise in a few weeks and only received luggage tags for one of them.

We are sailing on Jan 23rd and received our tags about a month in advance. That being said, the PP is right that there will be blank luggage tags available that you'll fill out yourself with name and room #. Have a great trip!

Bell services comes at a time after 7 am (or 7:30?). For us it was 40 minutes later. You don’t have to be in the room. I would enquirer with bell service the evening before about luggage tags. I would assume they either gave them there or the person picking up the luggage has them. They checked that we had put tags on our suitcases, so I think they would have put some on then and there.

The DCL rep will only be in the lobby later, closer to pick up time. You will get an email with instructions the day before.

The luggage will not travel on the bus with you, there is a special transport. We had an AirTag in our luggage and while eating lunch on the ship saw it do an extended tour of WDW resorts. It arrived well before Muster drill at our room though.
