Luggage Rack Storage bags

We have a 2010 Dodge Journey and feel like we will need to utilize our storage rack as there will be 4 adults and DD4. Does anyone have any suggestions about the various types of bags/boxes? Also can they be rented or where do you recommend purchasing them from? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!

You could contact your dealer and see what the options for safe and economical storage would be for the vehicle make and model.

You can find really nice ones at Advance auto or Sams club online.
I had to order on for a drive home to make more room for us inside. It was delivered to our hotel. Nice strong water resistant. Great tie downs.

All the way home in a good size rainstorm and it was fine.
Did I see this week that Target or was it KMart had a few on sale?
We were able to find one for about $80 and it held our two larger suitcases, and several smaller ones, along with the laundry.

It gave us so much more room inside. We stopped for the night and no one bothered the bag.

We purchased Target's brand about 7 yrs ago and it is still going strong. I happened upon it for $7 on clearance. It fits nicely on our van- was venture now odyessy. We have used it to hold 3 suitcases and a tote and a few smaller items. very easy to install and take down. It fits folded up in a shopping bag. We traveled w/ it from CT to VA to the autotrain and then lorton to disney-- never had any problems with it.

This was the first year that we made 2 trips to FL and didn't need the cargo bag. The Honda has soo much more storage then the venture. We have been very happy with the cargo bag.
