Good Morning...
Let me preface this with, I've already reach out to my TA late last night and am awaiting a response...BUT you are all so much quicker sometimes that I need to hear what my next steps are!

I received my magic bands and all that goes with that. However, I just realized that I have not received our magical express bag tags. How do I go about making sure that we have them before we leave? We have just under 2 weeks.

Any insight is greatly appreciated!
 
A few things could have happened....they could have been sent to your TA who just hasn't gotten them to you yet. Or, perhaps the reservation was never made, or your reservation just fell through a not so magical crack.
You can call DME directly and order the tags. I don't have the number handy, but I'm sure someone does.
 

I just wanted you to know you're not alone. I was on hold with Disney for 55 minutes yesterday, was transferred to Magical Express, and they claim to have sent them to the travel agency. Travel agency has turned the place upside down and doesn't have them. Apparently this has happened to them several times in the last few months. Not going to get them in time, so I think we're just going to collect our own bags and Lyft instead of collecting them and taking DME. I wish this service wasn't outsourced, because the DME customer service is way less than magical.
 
Call back, 2 weeks should be enough time.

Not sure if something has changed, DME materials were sent to the TA in bulk. The TA had to open the package and separate by client then forward to each client. Rumor is some TAs thought discarding the package was easier.
 
I agree with Lewisc. If it were a rare occurrence, okay, DME messed up. Or if nobody in a certain region were getting the information, probably blame it on the postal service. But if a single agency has a repeated issue, maybe it's something the agency is/n't doing.

You also don't NEED the tags to use DME. You can hand DME your bag check receipts and they can pull the luggage that way.
