Luggage/ flight question.. anyone know

When we went to WDW in 2015, we brought a case of beer (24 cans) and 2- 12packs of Coke in a checked suitcase. I packed beach towels under, around and on top of them. We didn't have any problems.
I had water and other food items shipped to the hotel with Amazon Pantry.
