No, on Disney they pretty much herd you in the Attrium the last morning, especially after 8:30 am when all the dining venues close.

This has not been our experience. We live in Florida and are never in a hurry to leave the ship. After breakfast we go to deck 4 and relax on the cushoined lunge chairs. We have never been told to gather in the atrium or been told the decks are off limits. We've done this for all 11 of our cruises.
Also, shutters is open until 9am but it I don't recommend waiting until then if you want photos, lines are always huge. If you are looking for entertainment, no they will not provide any but you certainly have options to sit and relax without crowds.
