Luggage at OKW

My family and I love the 2BDR at OKW which we rent from a DVC member. Am I missing something or is there another way to get luggage to a third floor villa without lugging it up the stairs? We have three daughters who do not believe in packing lightly!

You could always ask bell services for assistance with your luggage.

Thanks, Lew! I don't remember seeing bell services when checking in. I am assuming it is in the HH?

Usually Bell Service would rather do this (to get their respective tips). BS is before HH, just as you exit your car they are to the left.

Also, if you want, you could ask for a third story 2br unit that has an elevator. That way it makes the three flights do-able.

Only a few buildings have elevators.

The Bell Services desk is on the left side of the portico as you walk towards the front desk from the parking area. It is manned most of the day, but if you arrive late evening, just let the desk know you'll want assistance with your luggage and they will contact the Bell staff.

There are only 3 buildlings with elevator access (Bldgs 62, 63, 64)- so I'd plan on asking Bell Services for help. They are great and will be happy to assist.

Bell services will take you and your luggage to your villla and then will bring up your luggage to your villa. Most of the buildings at OKW do not have elevators, so this means the luggage service CM manually moving all of your luggage and assorted bags up flights of steps. We always compensate these CMs accordingly. Their job is not easy and yet they manage to do it efficiently and with a great attitude. These CMs are the most dedicated and the best out of all the WDW luggage service CMs, IMO.

This could be the opportunity to teach your daughters the lessons of packing lightly, especially when you have a washer and dryer available.

good point ..............2/bedroom with a washer and dryer ............
bring 1/2 the clothes and wash them half way through the vacation !

LOL, we pack lighter than that and wash every other day!
