While not Disney related, several of you have PMd me over the past months about travel information re your European holidays, most often connecting in FRA or MUC.
Be aware that ver.di has given strike notice (cabin and ground crew) and action is expected to start this coming Monday.
In past this has impacted mostly intra-Germany and intra-Europe flights, on both LH and Cityline, but not other LH concerns such as Air Dolomiti and SWISS, etc. It may delay your LH operated flight to/from America, or delay or cancel your intra-Germany or intra-Europe flight.
Check your local site http://www.lufthansa.com/online/portal/lh/de/nonav/local?l=en&nodeid=1874371&cid=18002
The union has advised that if talks do not progress this week towards the 10% pay increase, expect further more severe action the following week.
The majority of German states have now begun their holiday period, so Autobahn routes are already packed, as are trains. You may want to think about alternate arrangements, or pack your patience.
