Can someone please explain this to me?

MK got Cinderellabration for the whole celebration.
EPCOT got Soarin'
Studio got Lights Motors Action

So why does DAK only get Lucky for three months. Yes, if you haven't heard Lucky is only at Dinoland May June and July. How do they expect to pull people in to DAK when it has nothing new from August to December?

While Lucky is pretty cool - saw it last week - I don't think it was intended to have the draw the other E-ride attractions or show will have.

Basically Disney is just counting down the days till EE opens.

Yea, we saw him last Thursday. We followed him to the back gate near Chester and Hesters, as he "walked" offstage through the gate. We were trying to spot the CMs operating him like the ones that operate the trash can and wes palm, but could not spot them. We did, however, notice two, what appear to be camera lenses on the front of the cart, which leads us to believe the original story on "lucky", that he is operated by two CMs riding inside the cart. I made some very obvious moves to get as close as possible, looking for an opening into the cart, and CMs kept standing in front of me. blocking my pearing eyes.{there were 6 of them walking along side the cart, and probably thought I was nuts.}

My understanding is that Lucky is an experiment that isn't sturdy enough to run indefinitely. Learning how he interacts with the public is only one part of the experiment. The other is determining what mechanisms wear out, how fast, and why.

Luck is THE prototype: there is only one and it's the one you're seeing walk around. There is no backup equipment.
The skin is the most vulnerable part: when we saw it the second week in May it was already heavily stressed in a bunch of places and didn't look like it would make the full three months.
Lucky is remarkable--let's hope Disney thinks it's a worthwhile investment to build more like him.

Was talking to a CM on Sunday when I got to see Lucky for the first (and probably only time). They told me that Lucky is going to HK for the opening of the park there and then onto DLPR. Quite the world traveler if this is true.

He should be a permanent fixture at Dinoland!
