I would really like to eat at LTT. My dd has peanut allergy and I've read on allearsnet that there will be a delay in food. Anyone care to comment on this. How do they deal with a peanut allergy?

No restaurant in WDW will bring you any food until the chief comes and talks to you if they are aware of a food allergy. It could cause a short delay at any place but we find they come out pretty quickly and handle things very well. The biggest issues with a PA at WDW are going to be bread and desserts. If you avoid all warnings including "made in the same factory" you are pretty limited on dessert. DS eats a lot of ice cream at WDW. We have eaten at LTT but not since DS diagnoses at 2 years old. I would not expect too many issues there except the bread and the dessert. They do cobbler but not sure if it is made on or off site. If it is off site, they will not declare it safe. They have plain ice cream that may be safe for your child. Just plan to talk to the chief at all sit down places.

We've eaten at LTT twice with our peanut and tree nut allergic DD. We've done both lunch and dinner.

Dinner is famly style, you don't order off a menu. The dessert we were served was apple crisp, but DD couldn't have it. Instead, they brought her some vanilla ice cream. They even brought ice cream for DS, who doesn't have allergies but doesn't like apple crisp.

At lunch, you order off the menu. DD got the turkey dinner. The best part was that she could have the chocolate cake for dessert! She's already said that she wants to go back there since there are so few places where she can have dessert.

Sounds great. We're booked there for lunch in Dec
