WWYD?
Dh and I have been to Chef Mickey but someone suggested Liberty Tree Tavern
Which do you like better and why?

Let me add that DH is all about good food and the fact that he really liked CM means alot

This is for our first night by the way!! I love to start the trip off with a character meal and a trip to the MK!!!

One vote for LTT here.

It's a little less crazy than Chef Mickey's, and the food is brought to your
table, instead of having to go back and forth to the buffet line.

Chef Mickey's does have a notch up in that it has more variety, but all things
being equal, our family chooses LTT every time. :mickeyjum

LTT has great character interaction. We ate there on 3/7 and even though the restaurant was full the characters spent a lot of time at our table and came back multiple times. Our family really enjoyed the experience. That being said, my DH and I felt the food was not good. Our kids thought it was ok (ages 4 & 7). Just about everything was very salty. We did enjoy the salad and the apple cobbler. We did not eat at Chef Mickey's on this trip but did back in August and thought the food was great and the character interaction was good.

For our family, they are both favorites, and it would be hard to choose one over the other - that's why we'll be doing both on our next trip. :)

If we could only do one though, I think it would be CM because of the variety.

We did both our last trip. I would choose LTT because it is quieter and the characters interact more. The food was better at LTT but there is a wider selection at CM.
My vote would be for LTT

LTT!

It is a great character meal. Food is excellent, characters are great, servers have always been wonderful.

Plus it is IN the MK!

Chef Mickey's is fun, but I have found it is TO crazy sometimes. It is just way to popular.

LTT is a lot of fun. You will love it! :thumbsup2

I'm against the grain here and didn't care for LTT at all. The dressing is Stouffers (the restaurant is sponsored by them), nothing against it, but we're not big "out of the box" stuffing eaters. They serve 3 kinds of meat and we thought 2 were really dry. The atmosphere is not fun like Chef Mickey at all. There's also a salad, mac and cheese, bread, and the dessert was good. If you want to start out your vacation in a fun atmosphere with good food, I wouldn't choose LTT. JMO

I'd eat anywhere besides Chef Mickey's for dinner. It was the worst meal we've ever had in WDW. Anyplace has to be better than that.
