LTT PS on same day as MVMCP

We have three children (8,3,1) and we are planning on taking them to MVMCP this year. Because of the ages of the youngest two, we were planning on NOT going to a park that day, instead, we would just relax by the pool, take naps, etc. so that we could stay as long as possible at MVMCP.

The last time we were at MK we ate at LTT and really enjoyed it, so we wanted to combine dinner at LTT with MVMCP.

"Officially" MVMCP runs from 7-midnight. And "officially" MK closes that day at 5:00. We made PS at LTT for 5:35.

The CRO agent told us that we would have to have a "regular park admission ticket" since our PS are before MVMCP starts.

Obviously, I don't want to waste a whole day's worth of admission tickets just to get into our PS. And, my gut tells me that the CRO agent was just saying what "she is supposed to say".

Am I correct? I know that none of you can "guarantee" that we will be able to get in with just our MVMCP tickets, but I would like to hear from those of you who have done what we are trying to do.

This is our first time at MVMCP, so I am unsure of all the specifics of how it works. I have read many posts and therefore, know a lot of information, but I would appreciate a little "first-hand" knowledge of what we are trying to do.

Thanks for all your help!

To the best of my knowledge, you do not need to have a park pass to get in after 4-5 or so. If you have your MVMCP pass, then you should be all set. I think it would be a horror show if they actually made everyone without a park pass wait until the actual start of the party. Can you imagine all those people, trying to get in at the same time? Nope, I just don't think that would work out so well.

MK officially closes at 6:00pm on MVMCP nights.

The past 3 years they allowed admission with just the MVMCP ticket after 4:00pm. We got in at 4:15pm last year and got our wristbands (they designate certain turnstiles for early admission). Someone called CRO and confirmed it will be the same this year. They do this to stagger people coming through security, it would be a mess if everyone wanted to get through at 7:00pm.
