So, my original trip for 2015 was to be September 19 - 25 hoping to get in on first week of F&W. Well, since booking- The actual dates have been released and F&W is starting a week later and my nephew is getting married on the 26th so that week is out (DH only takes vac. M-F and won't "split weeks").

We looked at the crowd calendars and later in Sept/Oct. Look to be busier so now we are booked Sept. 12-18 (May add a day).

Just had to vent I guess.....

I know we will have fun, but I was looking forward to F&W since I have never been and this is my 3rd September visit and we do enjoy lower crowds (except at MNSSHP where it is pretty crowded).

Please console me...lol just kidding? I am happy just to go.

I've been to F&W three years in a row- twice in early November and once in late September. I found the crowds to be fine, so I would've chosen another week during F&W if I were you. Have fun though!

I think you picked an excellent week crowd-wise. Next time, try Nov. Perfect weather, low crowds and you can still catch F & W.

Good decision.

I absolutely LOVE F&W, but the crowds are insane. It's just not fun anymore. The food is great and the wine and beer is awesome, but . . . it's just not worth it for how much money a WDW vacation costs. If I were a local, it would be different.
