Does anyone know of these? My husband is an altoid addict and he's doing a low carb diet i am trying to find him a breath mint he can have without cheating on his carbs. He's beeing eating altoids for three years since he stopped smoking so that's the alternative. Thanks for any help on this one.

I did a quick Google search, and came up a recommendation on this web page for Myntz. To quote the review, "In our opinion, they're better than Altoids and work out to less than 1/4 carb per mint", compared to 0.67 carb per mint for Altoids.

Worth a shot! Good luck to your husband.

Holy smokes April...you're half the person you used to be!!! Congratulations on your achievements!! You are truly an inspiration to all WISH'ers!!! :cheer2:

You might also look for Slim Mints or Blitz. Depending on how many a day he goes through, almost any sugar-free mint (like Breath Savers, etc.) would be better.

If he really wants something strong, he could try the Listerine breath strips, too.

I wanted to post this in case any of you ever need a LO CARB mint. My sil came in this morning with a sugar free altoid with no carbs in it! She found them 60 miles away at a winn dixie store. Thanks again everyone for your help.

Check out Eclipse mints also! They're no carb- made with Splenda, and my DH was an Altoid freak.

Now he's hooked on these...

I just bought Tic Tacs (wintergreen)
