Still have 3lbs hanging on from my trip. :mad: But some of it might be TOM related, since I am due any day now. So I need to stay focused and not let it get to me!

Got to the gym this morning, which was good. Ate a divine piece of pumpkin cheesecake with lunch, which is not so good... :rolleyes1 But it's my weakness, what can I say??

We had quite the paint fiasco at the rental yesterday! We put on the first coat, it looked awesome, but decided to do a second coat. We had 3 gallons of the same color. My friend opened the last can, and proceeded to paint 4 walls. It was WAY darker! The idiots that mixed the paint screwed it up... Now DH has to go back and get the correct color, not to mention re-paint the walls that are too dark now. That just about pushed me over the edge, I was glad it was about time to go pick up the kids at that point! :headache:

For Sunday:
B: chocolate oatmeal
L: spicy chicken sandwich (no mayo) from Wendy's
S: Cinna-swirl 100 calorie pack
D: 2 slices homemade pizza w/ham; HC fudge bar; 2 M&M's

E: painting for about 4 hours straight...

Amy, I know you are right about the water weight, but I just hate seeing that number! At least it is still in the 130's though...
 
Glad you had a nice trip and got home safe. Hope the next one is just as good. You'll get those 3pounds back off soon. :thumbsup2

Yum!!! Did I read about cheesecake in your post? :love: I love a good piece of cheesecake. My grandma is a cheesecake fanatic too and always says that she will have two pieces: one for each hip!:rotfl:

The scale is moving in the WRONG DIRECTION!!!!!!!! I know I'm not supposed to count my weight until Friday, but I am really freaked out. I am not going to be able to get rid of this trip weight before my next trip (Monday) and I am really not happy about it. :sad::sad::sad:

Eating yesterday was not great. Work has been totally crazy, I have a 2 day class today and tomorrow, which is not helping me catch up from being gone last week or prepare for being gone next week! Did I mention I hate my job sometimes?? Not the job itself, just the travel and the stress. :sad1: I missed DS13's b-day last week since I was in the UK, and I am going to miss DD9's orchestra concert next week! And I missed her Dec concert because I was - yes, you guessed it - on travel for work! :sad2: :guilty: :sad1:

I think I am a little hormonal today, I am not dealing with things very well... I just ate 3 Whoppers eggs, I need to stay away from the junk, I feel a binge coming on!

For Monday:
B: chocolate oatmeal
L: wrap made w/flour tortilla, turkey lunchmeat, 1 slice cheese, cucumber, lettuce, red pepper, mustard; small slice pumpkin cheesecake :cloud9:
S: 3 mini cucumbers w/hummus; small handful almonds; 4 M&M's (they are finally gone!)
D: boneless thin cut pork chop; broccoli; 1/2 small slice apple pie; HC fudge bar

E: 45min treadmill

Amy given your job stress, paint stress, trip, TOM and life in general, I'd say you are entitled to feel hormonal and upset.:hug: Just ride out the next week as best you can, it will get better.

I had that exact same thing happen with ds' bedroom years ago. Wal Mart mixed the paint wrong and it wasn't until we had it on that we realized it. So I feel your pain. Make them refund your money!

Sorry everyone, I have been a really bad WISHer this week! Weigh in this morning was a pathetic and disturbing 139. :guilty: At least it's not 140... But I'm still super bummed about it.

Food has been AWFUL. I am not doing myself any favors! I raided DD's Easter basket last night, and have been snacking way too much. I think once I get back from this trip I have some serious discipline to get back into my routine!

I did work out 4x this week, only skipped Thursday because I was super tired.

I hope to be able to WISH more when I am on travel next week, maybe over the weekend as well. It really does help when I know I have to write down all the stuff I've been eating!

You can get back OP!!! I know you CAN do it!:cheer2: There may have been a few glitches with food here and there, but you still worked out 4Xs last week and you listened to your body and skipped a workout when you were too tired. Those are victories, my friend!:cheer2:

Sigh... The scale is still stuck at 139. I am SO BUMMED about that! TOM should be arriving, I had all the symptoms, but nothing yet. Hmmm... I was hoping that was the reason for some of those extra lbs. Now I need to try on my dress pants to see if they even fit! I also have a larger size, but those are definitely too big. :confused3 But I'd rather have too big than too small...

Spent all day painting at the rental. AGAIN. It's almost done and it's looking really good. We were able to score granite for dirt cheap and DH's nephew installs it, so we are getting granite in the kitchen and 2 bathrooms! :banana: We are also getting custom cabinets because it was only a couple hundred more $$ and it will be so much nicer.

We went to an Indian place for dinner and I was SO disappointed! :guilty: It is not like the UK Indian food I have grown accustomed to! And it was DH's first time (he is not an adventurous eater) so I felt bad. It wasn't horrible, just not like I wanted. Tracey, they didn't even have onion bahji! And then I heard the waitress tell the table next to us that it's not on the menu, but they can make it if someone requests it. :sad2: So, I guess I will have to get my Indian fix next week! ;)

For Saturday:
B: chocolate oatmeal
L: FlatOut bread w/chicken lunchmeat, 1 slice colby, mustard; 1 serving pretzels; 1 serving Teddy Grahams
S: small handful almonds

Tracy, I think I will have to watch what I eat in the UK and make sure I work out at the hotel. When I get back on Friday, I need to get right back on track Saturday morning, since I will only have 4 weeks until my next trip and I want to be at least 135 or less before then!

Hi Amy, don't get discouraged, you have a lot going on and that small gain isnt' going to be around for long. With your hectic travel scheudle and the stres of fixing up the rental, that's a lot for your body to deal with. I know those couple of pounds will come off! So I am guessing you are in the UK, hope you have a good week and that TOM either shows up or the PMS leaves!

Funny thing, I am going through the same thing right now. Maybe our hormones are bouncing off each other via the Wish Board!

Hang in there, I know its tough right now. Tell dd to eat her Easter candy or you're throwing it out! :hug:

A local Indian resturant near me made the news last week - a US business man visited it & loved it so much he paid $4000 to have a meal flown over to LA when he got home!!

Finally, a quick minute to post! Made it to the UK safe and sound, in fact I am leaving tomorrow! What a quick trip... I'm glad I will have a month off before the next one! I really need to step up to the plate and get those initial 4lbs off, plus whatever I am gaining on this trip. Because I can feel it! :confused3 But there is not much I can do about it, so I am not going to go overboard, but just focus on working out and eating healthy when I get back. And hopefully my body will respond!

Hormones are wacked. I had all the PMS symptoms, but no TOM. NOt that I'm complaining, but WTH? The bloating never went away, but the other symptoms did. Amy, have you scheduled the female reproductive organ bashing party yet? It's long overdue!

Last night I had a proper Indian meal.:cloud9: Skipped dessert, but I did have dessert at lunch. :rolleyes1 I am a little bummed about today - we were supposed to have a couple meetings today, but we got done early yesterday and wrapped everything up then. Someone else scheduled me for a meeting when I was here 2 weeks ago, but all the others I traveled with this time don't need to go. So they get to wander about - they are going to Shereborne Castle while I'm at work! I've already been there, but I am pouting because I have to work and they don't. Oh well, c'est la vie!

I have not worked out a single time since I've been here!:guilty: But I do plan on working out as soon as I get back from my meeting, since everyone else will still be out and about. And I will get up and work out tomorrow morning before leaving for the airport. At least I will get 2x in, although it's not the 4x I could have done. Better than nothing though!

I will try to remember what I had the last couple days.

For Tuesday:
B: fruit plate, bacon roll (on plane)
S: 2 orange/chocolate chip cookies
D: steak and ale pie, fries (they were SO good!), large glass white wine, apple cake w/heavy cream :lovestruc

For Wednesday:
B: scrambled eggs, 1.5 pieces brown toast w/butter and strawberry jam
L: 1/4 chicken salad sandwich, 1/4 egg salad sandwich, 2 slices pineapple, 2 slices plum
S: dessert bar (crust, caramel, thin chocolate layer - YUM)
S: peanuts, small pack Skittles
D: onion bhaji, pompadom, chicken tikka pasanda, pilau rice, 1/2 pashwari naan, 2 glasses white wine, 2 chocolate chip cookies

For Thursday (so far):
B: scrambled eggs, 1.5 pieces brown toast w/butter and strawberry jam

I think I will skip lunch today, my stomach is SO pooched out! I am really disgusted with myself. Oops, I said I wasn't going to worry about it, right!?!

Julie, it is SO hard to not worry about the scale, considering it took me months and months to lose that weight. It is scary and NOT FAIR how fast it comes on. Too bad weight has a double standard!

Uh oh, sounds like you may be getting into that perimenopausal/phantom TOM thing. It stinks but not having regular periods can be a good thing. It just stinks having the bloat last so long. Maybe this is a fluke thing from all the travelling and will sort itself out quickly. I hope so!:wizard:

As for the working out thing, don't beat yourself up! You are in a foreign country, on business, away from family, routine and your kitchen. Most people woudn't even toy with working out with all that going on! Your good habits will be right where you left them. Just do the best you can, you have a month off and can really hit it hard when you get home.

Apple cake with real cream. If you had passed that up, I woudl have to kill you. OMG that sounds goooooddddd!!!!!

I didn't send you the hormones, Julie did. That's where I got mine from! (sorry goldcupmom). And yeah, the uterous bonfire will happen one of these days very soon!
