Love to Spa.......Question about the Dolphin

Hi next month i will be staying at the Dolphin (Swan&Dolphin) and I understand there is a Spa.


Please can you tell me what the Dolphin Spa is like? Is it free to guests of the Dolphin hotel?
What is it like and what is there?


Second question: I understand there is a launderette for the use of hotel guests. Is it serviced? Can I hand in all my laundry for someone else to wash and dry perhaps iron too? Thank you

Just returned from our stay at the Dolphin. There is now a spa there and no, it's not free. Variety of services/prices. There is also a health club which there is a fee for as well. Parking is $9 a night plus tax. You still get the US Newspaper every morning and some morning we had a local paper as well. As far as laundry I did our laundry myself once. It's $2.00 for the washers and $2.00 for the dryers.

We were at the Swan last month and in our room was a price list for the Mandera Spa. Boy was it expensive!! I think the cheapest service was like $50 and I think that was a mens service. I wonder if they were looking/hurting for business because I think we had about 2 pre recorded messages on our phone reminding us about the spa services and the spa etc. I have never been to a spa but for $150-$300 I would rather not waste my disney park touring time which I paid good money and tickets for on the spa etc. Also I would rather use that money for dining etc. I guess if you were celebrating something special or deserved a really nice expensive splurge the spa would definetely be for you. We have walked past the spa and it looks very classy and inviting etc.
