lounge food

Hello!

we are heading to a 5 day trip in May for my daughter's second bday, and we made many reservations and have a pretty commando style touring plan. But we are heading back in June for a quick 5 day trip we just added and I want to do a different, more laid back style trip...so couple of questions, what are your experiences with lounge food, like at Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge, or Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar? And if the restaurants attached to those service kids meals, for example Tiffins and Nomad Lounge, do you think we will be able to order one for our two year old? She is a pretty adventurous eater, usually just splits anything I eat, but I want to have the option at least. Any pictures of food are more than welcome! Thanks!

I haven't done our latest food reviews yet, but we loved Nomad lounge. The food and drinks are amazing and I had no idea serenity could occur in the middle of a disney park. You daughter will be more than welcome there, though I don't know if they serve the Tiffins kids meals in the lounge. We've had our 5 year old there on a few occasions and its never been an issue.

In addition to the ones you listed, you may also want to consider Territory Lounge in Wilderness Lodge, as well as Mizners in the GF or The Wave Bar.

I am sort of obsessed with the WDW lounges. Of the ones you listed, I really enjoyed Tutto Gusto. There are some smaller pasta dishes on the menu that are probably not enough for an adult, but would work as a meal for a toddler. My two favorites on property are Crew's Cup at the Yacht Club (a super easy walk/boat ride if you're at Epcot or HS) and @kastoney's recommendation of Territory Lounge. I've ordered off the Artist Point menu while wine-ing & dining at Territory Lounge. Mmmm so yummy!

I love a good lounge too! Bluezoo, HBD, the bar at the CG if you can get in, Mitzners, and I consider Spice Road Table a lounge too, but its really a tapas place. I can't wait to try Nomad's. I wasn't blown away by Tutto the times I've ended up there, but its always been because someone in the party was hangry, so I really shouldn't comment on that one. I need to give it a try not under duress.

You will typically hear her requesting steak over chicken nuggets any day of the week. I think the server at the Yachtsman was completely beside himself when I informed him that she would be splitting my medium rare filet with me instead of getting a kids meal on her first birthday trip

I just wanted to make sure that she would be welcome there and that we would have enough food. We will definitely be adding some of those suggestions to our list! Thanks!

Wow, thanks so much. Good to hear there is a fellow foodie kid out there We've gotten quite a few quizzical looks from servers when she digs into octopus or sushi, so I'm totally with you on the Yachtsman experience!

Be sure to check out Nomads if you can. I'm afraid with Pandora opening our little slice of paradise is going to become very popular
