Lost ticket question--lost at home

I have searched and also looked in the ticket thread. This situation is not covered there.

I bought our tickets through Undercover Tourist. I got them in the mail and then promptly put them in "a safe place" until our trip at the end of May.

I cannot remember where I put them. I am freaking out.

It's the weekend so I don't figure I would get anyone to answer me at UT but will email them on Monday.

Does anyone know if they can figure out my ticket numbers and reissue them?

If it's possible I will relax a bit and continue to look. If it's not possible then I will drive my family nuts all weekend looking for these things.

Any idea?

oh, and I don't have the numbers or a picture of them. They haven't even been taken out of the plastic. I red the info on the back to make sure they were correct and then put them away...somewhere.

UC will have a record of your ticket order and will most likely send you new ones and void the old ones. When you get the new ones, scan them or take pics of the back right away and tell someone else where you are "hiding" them. I bought one of those expandable folder things and have different sections for Disney, house rental, Universal, car rental, etc. It helps me keep up with everything.

Someone has asked this before and that time UT sent the poster the numbers off the tickets and didn't send new tickets. It may be because UT can't return the original ones back to Disney.

I just wanted to wish you luck. I know what you are going through. I used to hide stuff for safe keeping and not remember where. I lost a box of checks for 2 years.

Just relax and maybe it will come to you. Here's to hoping you find them.

Thanks! That makes me feel tons better. The thought of spending $1K and losing it just freaks me out.

I"m starting to think I'm really losing it.

We went to WDW in Jan '10. I had ordered my Disney VISA rewards card before we left and somehow managed to not take it on our trip. I found it in the couch cushions when we got back. The rewards were going to expire before our next trip so I ordered a couple of gift cards and had them sent to me with the idea that I'd put them up for the next trip. I got a $150 gc and a $25 gc. I put them in my nightstand.

Then we moved and I found then while unpacking and put them in "a safe place." Guess what? I realized in April that I couldn't find them. I tore everything apart. I called Disney.com and they were able to pull up my order, cancel the cards, and reissue new ones. Great.

Except, despite giving the gal on the phone my NEW address, they sent them to my old address. Only ONE actually ended up getting forwarded to me--of course it was the $25 one. I called Disney.com again and they had me wait 2 weeks and then they cancelled the lost one and sent me a new one.

I got the new gc today in the mail.

While looking for the missing tickets this afternoon I found the original gift cards.

I think I am losing it. Why am I having such brain farts with disney stuff?

Of course once you get the info sent to you, you find the tickets.

If you'd like a suggestion...

get a home strong box. make a folder and mark it "Disney."

put the $$$ Disney stuff in the Disney folder, and put the folder in the strong box.

My vacation folder is lime green and lives on my living room bookshelf. Everything that can be scanned has been scanned as well, just in case.

Don't feel bad. I put our Disney luggage tags in a safe place when we got them before our trip last Oct.
I was just cleaning out a closet for our garage sale and guess what I found? So much for a safe place.

WAHOOO! I found them!!!!!!!!!

I have a very shallow pull-out drawer in my kitchen desk. I *knew* I put them there but I had taken everything out and couldn't find them. Turns out because the drawer is so shallow they had gotten hung up and pushed behind the drawer. I took the drawer out and there they were.

Ok, now my tummy has stopped hurting.

Congrats on finding them!!

I have a bankers box marked "vacation" in my office closet. It is a big box so you cant lose it. All vacation stuff lives in there. I used to have those "oh ****" moments until I started doing that. Now as soon as something comes in the mail for any type of trip, it goes in the vacation box.

I have this same situation, but unfortunately, I can't find the ticket.

Can I call UT and get a new ticket or am I out of luck? I wasn't following when someone mentioned they would send you the number. Then what do you do?
