I don't think it's too early! It's right around the corner!

Has everyone seen the new trailor for the season? It's on www.abc.com

Can't wait! Is it going to be on Thursdays this season?

From what I've heard it will be on Thursdays at 9 until Grey's Anatomy comes back and then it'll get bumped to 10.

Count me in!! I'm so excited...........this fall has been the most boring TV schedule ever. Looking forward to Lost and 24.............if Kiefer can get out of jail and start back filming soon. :rolleyes1

Here's the official press release.

With only 48 original episodes left until the final episode airs in 2010, this season truly is the beginning of the end with the promise of rescue at hand. Jack has radioed a freighter stationed somewhere off the island. But when it's disclosed that Charlie's dying warning was that these people may not be who they say they are, the castaways are split as to what to do. Jack is convinced that the freighter people are there to rescue them, while Locke is not. A division occurs among the survivors. Who is on the freighter? What was the significance of the flash-forward showing Jack and Kate off the island at some point in the future? What will the consequences be when the characters once again encounter Michael, who seemingly escaped the island after murdering two of the survivors? These are some of the questions "Lost" will explore during the action-packed fourth season.

The band of friends, family, enemies and strangers must continue to work together against the cruel weather and harsh terrain if they want to stay alive. But as they have discovered during their 90-plus days on the island, danger and mystery loom behind every corner, and those they thought could be trusted may turn against them. Even heroes have secrets.

Ooooooooooooh!!! I can't wait. It looks good!!!! I loved the commentary on the recap. :rotfl:

Can't wait :thumbsup2

Does anyone know the status of the writer strike & how it will play in? I know they only have 8 episodes filmed right now.

I saw a new Oceanic commercial last night. Looks like they are doing another online experience. Go here:

Season premiere is Thursday, January 31st at 8pm. It is a 2 hour special. Hopefully my set of season 3 DVD's get here soon so I can watch again before the premiere.

Oh, I can't wait! I need to watch the first three seasons again. So much happens that I want to be sure I remember everything!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but 24 was cancelled this season due to the writer's strike.

NOT even Jack Bauer could save "24" from the writers' strike.

Fox last night postponed indefinitely the new season of the popular Keifer Sutherland-secret agent drama which, like many other prime time shows, has been shut down by striking writers.

Ok I am not liking the switch to Thursdays but at least the show is back!

That is what we have been doing. We are about half way through Season 3 now.

Who are the people on their way to the island? Why are they really there?

Who will die this season?

Please share your ideas...

I heard there are two deaths in the first eight episodes.

I heard there are two deaths in the first eight episodes.

I heard that too. Who do you think?

Did Charlie really die?

We haven't finished watching Season 3 again yet so I don't remember how Namoi is. Is she close to death? Could she be one? I don't remember if she was "healthy" by the end of the season or not.

Do you think her people are there to rebuild the hatch?

Taken from next week's TV Guide:

"But Lost's most unexpected twist this season occurred off screen: The writer's strike means that the number of original episodes drops to eight from the planned 16."

So it's only going to be on for two months (or actually less, if there's a two hour premiere)???
