I think it's all an act - after all Goodwin only died a few "weeks" ago.

How attached was Juliet to Goodwin? Remember, Ben's objective has, all along, been babies -- perhaps Juliet's rendezvous with Goodwin was not entirely voluntary.

According to Juliet, every pregnant woman on the island dies. But, she also said that she thinks "it"(whatever kills them) happens at conception. So, it seems that Rosseau and Claire were safe, because conception took place off the island. Sun is a different story, because it is unclear as to when or where she conceived.

Claire was implanted with something when she was kidnapped by the Others. Is it possible that the Losties, that have been in the Others custody, may have been implanted as well? That would include Kate, Jack, Sawyer, Sayid, Charlie and Locke.

Didn't Ben tell Sawyer he was implanted with an explosive device when he showed him he was on a different island than the losties, during captivity?

Yes he did.

I think the trigger of Claire's implant was so Juliette could continue to give Claire the shots... I don't think the lack of the injections caused her reaction - I think the implant did.

In the last scene with Ben and Juliet, Ben told viewers that the implant caused Claire's illness.

Trust your gut, you know more about this show than you think.

Ben said that they triggered the implant and that Claire should be symptomatic in 48 hours, which should give Juliette a nice big crisis to solve when she gets to the beach. So, that means they implanted something in Claire when Ethan kidnapped her and it has been sitting dormant in her since then. They activated the implant so that Juliette could save Claire and that would make the Losties trust her.

As for Goodwin & Juliette getting together with the sole purpose of getting he pregnant, I doubt it. The last thing they would want to do is kill off the one researcher who could fix the problem and a pregnancy could do just that.

As for Goodwin & Juliette getting together with the sole purpose of getting he pregnant, I doubt it. The last thing they would want to do is kill off the one researcher who could fix the problem and a pregnancy could do just that.

I thought Goodwin was attractive, in the manly-man, Sean Bean kind of way! Besides, from what we've seen of the 'others' boys, she didn't have much to choose from.

Yeah, you've got Ben, Ethan(you would never know he is Tom Cruise's cousin), Mr. Friendly(Tom), Carl, Pickett and Richard. The Losties definitely win in the looks department. Maybe that is why the Others are so pi@@ed off at them.

I agree... not much choice in LOST world.... poor Kate having to choose between Sawyer and Jack. I'd take them BOTH on if I were her.... Ha!
