Also could Danielle be Ben's girlfriend from the flashbacks of him in his younger days. Could she be the girl who gave him that birthday present that he saved all those years??
I forgot what it was but I thought it was odd she cared so much for him and then he gassed her with the rest of them!

I doubt it. Danielle has a pretty thick accent and Annie(Ben's gf) did not. Plus, we still aren't sure what happened to Annie when Ben gassed the Dharma people. I would assume that she survived since they didn't show her body.

When Juliet was giving Sun her sonogram, she explained that if the baby was conceived OFF the island, then mom and baby would be ok. Danielle must have been pregnant when she landed on the island.

Im thinking he kidnapped her and raised her to believe he was her father. Danielle was probably pregnant when she got to the island.

When I replayed this part via the TIVO I could have sworn that he said EITHER. My cousin was the one who told me to double check that part and she seemed right but who knows....

Danielle in season 1 claims she is a french Scientist who's ship crashed on the Island. Her husband & the other men she was with were killed. After giving birth her baby was kidnapped. Which explains how insane she is.

Ben and the others kidnapped and are raising Alex, just like they kidnapped the kids from the plane. He isn't her biological father.

Danielle and Claire lived giving birth on the island because whatever kills the mothers, happens at conception. Since both Alex and Aaron were conceived OFF the island the mothers were ok.

Jacob is real. I missed this during the show, because it movced so fast, but they show Jacob in the chair after he pushed Ben away.

Does anyone remember what song was playing in the VW van when Hurley went for his first joyride down the hill? For some reason I'm thinking it was a Beach Boys song. Good Vibrations just seems so random for a code...

Some speculation about the 'flash forward'.

What if what they showed us is what the future COULD be if everything moves forward from the point of Jack's actions in the final moments of this last episode? It shows us (the viewers) that Jack is wrong, wrong, wrong, and we've got some big trouble coming up next season. We still have the possible intervention of John, Ben, the others and probably Desmond to alter the course of the future we saw.

I just can't believe that the future they showed us is how it WILL be....because if it is, what's the point in watching the rest of the seasons when we know how miserable it is?

I am thinking that Julia lied to Sun about her pregnancy. She really got pregnant off the island. If all else had failed, if they believe Sun got pregnant on the island, and then Julia helps her have a successful delivery Julia will have fulfilled her agreement. Thus she could leave.

It very well could be one possible future.
MY DW said the same thing that if they are misserable why keep watching....only one that was miserable to me looked like Jack....Kate seemed fine, and frankly we didn't see anyone else.

Life isn't going to be all good once they get off the island. They are going to have some enemies in high places (Dharma) ...I'm guessing from the flash forward they are told to keep quite(about the true island) or dharma will make life hell for them.

I was thinking about the ending again... especially where Jack tells Kate that they have to "go back". He syas that twice to her.

At first I thought he just meant "go back"to the island, but now I think he means that they have to "go back" in time to fix things.

I have no idea how they would accomplish that, but I do think Jack was specifically referring to going back in time and not just physically travelling back to the island.

He tried to make a phone call and looked at an obit. The kind of zoom in on the font. I'm hoping someone out there enhances the obit and then we might find out who is dead.

It wasn't an obituary it was a news story. It said a man's body was found dead in downtown LA. I didn't see a name though. I have to watch it in slow motion again
