LOST - Season 2 (No spoilers)

OK, what was with the whole Queen Bee attitude of that Ana Lucia chick. That got old after about 2 seconds. I hope this doesn't turn into a Lord of the Flies thing.

could anyone be so kind to give me a recap
thanks
The people from the back of the plane let out Michael, Jin and Sawyer and took them back to their "camp". We found out that there "were" 27 survivors, but apparently, not anymore. Yes, that's how vague the show was about that. The Ana Lucia character seems to be the Queen in charge of the whole group. They all went back to another bunker of sorts and we met Rose's husband Bernard. He asked if Rose was alive and Micheal told him yes.

Back to the other castaways. Hurley is put in charge of taking inventory of the food so they can hand it out in a reasonable fashion. We see his life in flashbacks to when he found out about the lottery, but had not yet claimed his prize. He and his buddy quit their job and head around town for the day. He asks a cute girl at the record store to go out and she says yes. His buddy eventually finds out about the money and we get the impression (or at least I did) that the friend ceases to be his friend after this. This leads Hurley to want to destroy the food because he doesn't want the people to turn on him. He ends up passing the food out to everyone in the end.

Sayid and Jack were working on finding something behind a wall, but I could never figure out what they were doing.

A Lost thread- hooray!

We found out that there "were" 27 survivors, but apparently, not anymore.

I just finished watching the episode and she said there were 23 of us. Which is curious because at the one camp there were 42 survivors at the start of the show and at the new camp there were 23. 23 & 42 are part of the infamous numbers. I have no idea what it means though. :teeth:

I liked this episode a lot, only one thing was missing it needed more Sayid, I love him.

I think the reduced number of surviving 'talies' is due to them being attacked by the others, and is why they are so suspicious and militant.

I am so not liking Michelle Rodriguez on this show as Ana Lucia. She is such a one note actress.

Loved the scene with Bernard, made me tear up. Loved that they showed Rose saving the candy bar for him.

Did anyone else catch that Walt is on the side of the milk carton in the Hurley dream sequence at the very beginning?

Seriously! I.Hate.Her.

I thought we were going to find out how/why Hurley ended up institutionalized? :confused3 I guess we'll have to wait till his next flashback.

One thing is certain ... Abrams and Lindelhof are EVIL!!!! That "Jin speaks English" teaser last week was evil evil evil!!!

So my first thought tonight is why is the same guy who played Locke's boss playing Hurley's???
Was it? If so, maybe Hurley thought that it would be a kind of sweet revenge to be the boss of his former boss. I know some shows have sometimes used the same actors in very minor (and sometimes major) guest roles but I think this show is too well planned out in advance to do that.

Has Hurley told anyone besides Jack that his name is really Hugo Reyes? I didn't think he had but I've heard Locke call him "Hugo" several times. I kept waiting for Hurley to ask "how do you know my real name, dude?" Maybe it's because I can't wait to see everyone's reaction when they find out that Locke was paralyzed before the crash, and Hurley might have met Locke at the box factory and would recognize him.

I don't like Michelle Rodriguez's character either. I thought Sawyer's response to her was funny when she left him down in the pit.

I had the goosebumps when Rose's husband told Michael & Sawyer who he is. I hope they are reunited.

And has anyone gone back on their tapes or DVRs and verified that the symbol was really right there next to Walt on the wreckage of the plane? I'm a little skeptical on that one. :magnify:

Like I said before, yes, I have the DVDs, and it's there. Maybe even a little more prominent. May not mean anything, but it's cool anyway. :)

I saw the symbol on the back of the bunker that Sawyer & Friends were in too! But, I don't think it was the same symbol, I don't think there was a swan in the middle. I'll have to check the tape.

I have a question. Babies are not allowed to have peanut butter or any type of peanuts in case they are allergic. Does that pertain to breastfeeding also? My kids were formula fed, so I don't know if a nursing mother is allowed to eat peanut butter, but I wouldn't think you'd be able to.

That's all I kept thinking about when Claire was eating that peanut butter last night.

I'll just back ladycollector up on this one. It is in epidose 1:3 Tabula Rasa which is Kate's first episode. I watched it last night with DH and it is definately on the plane. I can't believe we didn't notice it before and wonder 'what are those shadows' or 'what's that design' it is quite prominent. Of couse at the time 1:3 aired we didn't know that we were supposed to be looking for anything!

From the Associated Press this morning:

HONOLULU -- It's being reported that the actor who plays Sawyer on the television drama "Lost" and his wife were robbed at gunpoint in their home.

A TV station in Honolulu reports that the robber surprised Josh Holloway and his wife early Wednesday when they were in bed.

He stole cash and credit cards and drove off in Holloway's Mercedes.

The car was found abandoned later.

Honolulu police haven't released any information on the robbery

Me too. It distracted me.
I'm trying to pay close attention to this show and I get hung up on stuff like this. Oh well. :)

A nursing mom can eat peanut butter unless she has an allergy to it. If the baby turns out to have unexplainable fussiness or allergic reactions, they may make her keep a journal of what she eats and go from there, but generally she can eat what she wants to, as long as food is well cooked and pasturized, etc...

yep, a nursing mom can have peanut butter, as long as she has no allergies. I believe if the father has a history of allergies, its best avoided, too. But I ate it with no problem.
