Michael drew a card for Walt when he was little that had two snow men on it with that riddle and Hurley said it on the beach before. The whole riddle is " What did one snowman say to the other snowman?" Do you smell carrots?

I remembered that too and got all excited, until I remembered correctly...

I thought the joke he drew for Walt was about penguins...

Something like, "what's black and white and red all over?"

Answer: A penguin with a sunburn.


Did he do several? I read somewhere that Hurley actually told the snowman joke at some point last season, but no one has given any details as to when.

I am glad I am not the only one who saw the shark with the emblem.
I was disappointed that the show only showed like 15 mins of real time. so we really didn't see anything more about Desmond. but thats how they make good tv.

Some people are saying that if you have high def. you can see that the logo says "DHARMA" and has a swan in the middle.

It does say DHARMA, and it is a swan! Yikes!

I could make out the DH and MA but didn't know if it was DHARTA or something else. Thanks for clearing that up! Now this has me thinking of Dharma and Greg...LOL.

When did this happen?? Was this in one of the flashbacks of the cards he was sending to Walt last season?

Oh and BTW, I Googled the riddle last night and that was the answer I found.

I thought it was odd to find out that Kate was locked in a pantry. Who locks their pantry?!? Then I began to wonder if the pantry was locked because all of the food in there caused "the sickness". *Note: When we saw Desmond eating, he was making a smoothie with fresh fruit - nothing canned. If this is true, Kate will be the first person sick (she ate the candy bar) and she *may* be bringing the sickness out to the other survivors via the candy bars she stole. Just a thought.

Good thinking...anyone know how old Apollo candy bars are?

The only thing is I recall seeing him put a peach half into the smoothie and it looked like JUST like a canne dpeache.

Nope. I read online that someone saw him putting what appeared to be a canned peach in the smoothie. I'll have to rewatch it.

Interesting...but confusing! LOL! That does kind of tie into the feng shui symbol. Seems very "new-agey" to me.

My theory on this is that they have all gotten there at differant times. I think planes and boats get to close to the island and the "security system" causes them to crash there.

Perhaps it has something to do with a magnetic force. Remeber how when Jack got down the hatch and he was looking around and at one point the key around his neck seemed to move toward some force?

My friend brought up this point that ties into the Polar Bear that Michael gave toddler Walt:

We know Walk has "powers" -- which is why he was reading the comic book on Polar Bears and then one appeared.

Lastly, for Desmonds smoothie - I saw red things covered in syrup - looked like Marachino cherries. Definately in the panty.

(I got SUCH cravings last night watching Kate eat that candy bar...imagine how good it was to her after not eating real food for 40+ days!)
