It's a 'game' if you will, during the summer to keep the interest in LOST alive I believe. It's supposed to give you background information on the world of LOST. I haven't been following it that much, 'cause it seems like ALOT of work to me.

Best Buy has it for $35.99, and for a limited time it comes with a bonus disc of extra material (On Location feature, deleted scenes, and recap episode). Cheapest I have seen and I don't recall the first season of ever getting below the first weeks sale price. If you want the DVD's of lost get them this week while they are on sale.

DH beat me to it and got it at Best Buy- we got Season 1 there last year too but I thought I'd stop in here and see if there was anything exclusive anyplace else. Thanks for the info!

Our marathon breeze through the Season 2 DVD's started last night. It was really interesting watching the first episode again knowing what we know now. I found Desmond's reaction to their arrival even more interesting now. For example, why was there a elaborate way to spy on the hatch opening. Did they have issues, or expect "others" to try and get through in the past? Very curious, and something I didn't think about the first time around.

Yeah I didn't bother to do it. It DOES seem like a lot of work and I found that if you didn't start from the beginning it's just too hard to get involved.

Just a question...I see this is a spoiler free thread, but what kind of spoilers? I'm use to spoilers being things like leaked script pages, etc. but if something is published in EW or something is that still considered a spoiler? I know they have talked about the direction of this new season.

IMO anything officially released to the press is not a spoiler. That poster being a good example. Interesting that they featured "Henry" and Desmond.

I think it depends on an individual person, some only want to know as far ahead as the next show. It's always a good idea to go to the spoiler thread with anything other than that. Lost has two differant threads, one to discuss the show and the other for spoilers. I think someone started a new spoiler thread for this year.
