Help!! We checked out of Coronado Springs Resort on Feb 5th and lost our digital camera. I am sick to my stomach losing 400 pictures including my daughter's 3rd birthday at Cinderella's castle. I have called the lost and found and they didn't have anything as of last weekend? Should I continue to call? Any other thoughts?

Do you know you lost it there? Or just noticed it was missing when you got home? If so, you could also check the lost and found at the airport and airline.

Did you have any identifying info on the camera?

I have read on these boards about things being returned months after, I would not give up hope completely.

I know this doesn't' help now, but for future and if anyone else is reading, what I do is write my cell phone # in large text on a piece of paper. Then I take 2 pictures of it...one on my internal memory, one on the sd card (do this for all card if you have more than one). My camera has a feature to lock the image so it can't be deleted.

That way, if someone finds it, hopefully they will do the right thing and call.

There is also some website out there about lost cameras. I'll try to find the link. It is some sort of site where they post a pic from it, then you can see if you find your stuff up there (or something like that...)

I think this is the site:
http://www.ifoundyourcamera.net/

Good luck!

That has to be a heart break. I know when we lost a hat for dd, after 24 hrs to check at the main lost and found of Disney for the Parks. Not sure about the hotels though.

I remember someone having a huge camera bag at Ariel's Ghrotto and moved along the wall at some point. I would not move holding the bag at my feet until they must have found out upon seeing Ariel they do not have the bag.

Is this the Z812 or Z981? I was checking out Ebay to replace my own Z812 and noticed so many of them listed this week.
Not that you can replace the pictures but gee would it be odd to find yours there?

Maybe a discreet inquiry as to if it comes with a SD card?

Did you have your information on it at all? I use return address labels to put on all my electronics.
Hope you do get a phone call or package. I know Teddy Bears and other luvvy toys have arrived at homes later.

My family and I lost our camera the last night we stayed at coroando springs resort on December 9th 2011. We lost it in the dig site, pool area between 6 and 7 pm. My husband went back a little while later and talked with one of the cast members sweeping the area. He said that a little while earlier a gentleman was asking around if this was anyones camera. My husband filed a lost item claim that night. I called Saturday and Sunday and nothing had been turned in. On Monday I talked with the lost and found coordinator and she said that the same gentleman on saturday or later sometime was asking around the pool and bar area if anyone had inquired about losing a camera. The bartender ask him to give it to him to turn into lost and found. The gentleman declined saying that how would he know it made it to its rightful owners. We could not notify the pool area that we were looking for a camera the next morning because we had to leave at 5:15 saturday morning. I am wondering if this gentleman still has this camera because a week later and nothing has been turned into lost and found. It breaks our hearts to lose all the pictures from our trip of our three girls. I also would like to wonder why he would look for someone missing a camera and then never try to find its owners. Did he just pocket it after he couldn't find us? :( Kind of hard to find us if we are no longer there. I truely believe Walt Disney World people are some of the most honest people because we are all there for the same reason. Our childrens enjoyment and to have a magicial time with our family. Why would someone not want to reunite lost pictures with it owners. We are 100% sure we lost it at the dig site on Friday night and are certain someone found it by talking to all the employees that he asked about this found camera. If anyone has any info please let us know. If you have found a camera at the resort please reply or if you have any information as to who this gentleman may be please reply. We don't need the camera just the memory card with our pictures on it. thanks.

Yes!! Continue to call both Coronado Springs' lost and found, as well as central theme parks lost and found. Anything lost at a resort is handled by their own personal on-site L&F, and things lost in the parks, on buses, and anywhere else would end up at Central L&F. A few years ago, we were park hopping to AK, MK and the (then) MGM studios and SOMEwhere during that day, I lost my camera. My purse had a hole in it. I checked at lost and found everyday that week, with no luck. A month later I decided to check at central lost & found and sure enough, they had it, memory card and all! I couldn't believe it! So, it may take a while to turn up if someone hasn't taken it to call their own.

Good luck! And keep trying.
