Between 1 and 100, there's probably a 2% chance I'll upgrade to the Pixar hotel suite. I'm going to the Oogie Boogie Bash this year with my DS and dad. I have the Parlor A suite at Desert Inn and Suites booked across the street. It's a regular room, but a wall separates the pull out couch from the 2 queen beds and bathroom. It's perfect for what we need. What would you chose? I've stayed at Desert Inn a couple times. I'm not crazy about it because they have an indoor pool. But this is going to be a quick 3 night trip. The ONLY time we'd go swimming is after breakfast the morning of OBB.We might just hang out at DTD before we get ready for OBB.Next day will be a full day at Disneyland. I know the pool at Pixar is nicer, but swimming isn't on the list of things to do. I'm just thinking about all the space in a suite. If it was just DS and I, we'd be in a standard room. He could sleep through anything. I'm a night owl, but my dad isn't. I'll be paying $900 for the suite at Desert Inn, but $4,000 for the one at Pixar Hotel. If I had ZERO bills, and no taxes for my property coming up, I'd totally stay there. If you've stayed at a Pixar suite, what did you like or dislike about it? You can mention other hotels too. Thanks.

Is anyone planning to sleep on the sofabed or are you just wanting a place to hang out after your dad goes to bed? I hate all of the beds at Desert Inn but the sofa bed was particularly bad.

Desert Palms has a variety of room options that could meet your needs, depending on the bed set up you want. It's a bit farther away than Desert Inn but much better hotel, better breakfast, etc. and as close to Disneyland as Pixar Place: https://www.desertpalmshotel.com/accommodations

I can make some other suggestions of one-bedroom suites depending on how far you're willing to walk and what bed set up you want.

I was planning to sleep on the sofabed. I've done it before and it was fine. Thanks for the suggestions.
