I thought last night's episode was great. I can't believe we have to wait until April 13th for a new one :sad2:
I was thinking the numbers are passages from the Bible, but who knows.
Hurley seemed to have made a connection with the French woman, I wonder if she'll eventually join up with them.
I thought it was funny that Charlie didn't believe Hurley about being worth 156 million. Poor Hurley, I don't know if anyone will believe him.

OMG, did anyone else die laughing when Hurley, after he found the French woman and came back with the battery, when he said to the other guys (maybe directly to Sayid, I can't remember), "She says 'hey'"? LOL...I thought that was hysterical!!

I about died laughing! Only Hurley!! I actually thought the French woman was going to pop out of the jungle behind him and go back to their camp. I really enjoyed Hurley's story last night.

The "thing" with the numbers on...is it the same thing Locke and Boone have been trying to open? I didn't think it was a plane. I thought it was a sub! I don't know...I love reading everyone's posts. There are great observations being made!

I was thinking the same thing. She was a very attractive woman, I was thinking she would end up joining them. We have no idea how long she has been on the Island, but I betshe has a lot of useful info they could use. I bet we have not seen the last of her.

YO! French Chick! :rotfl2:

I LOVE Hurley! He was too funny last night. I always thought it would be good drinking game, drink every time Hurley says "dude".

We never found out WHY Hugo calls himself "Hurley," did we? Anyone else thinks there is significance in the character's names? Like, CHARLIE and CLAIRE are only one letter difference, and the word LIAR can be found in both. Just a theory, but I can't help but think that their names have meaning!

I do remember him saying "Hurley" isn't his real name. May have been the episode where he was doing the census. I can't remember if he said how he got the nickname.

Anyway.. if you use the letters corresponding to the numbers in the lottery (not including the powerball number 42) you get DHOPW. I can't remember what order they were drawn on the televised lottery drawing but I know it wasn't numerical. First letters that stuck out to me were POW, then add the 42 as in 1942 during WW2. Could DH be someone's initials? Could this island have been some countries testing grounds for biological weapons and they eventually brought Prisoners of War to the island to test them on them? The island is in the Pacific.. could it be near islands like Palau which is filled with old military stuff from WW2. Could things have gone really bad? Someone put that radio tower there before Danielle's boat crashed. I'm sure someone else had something to do with that cable leading out into the ocean... to much to think about! Too early in the morning!

The plane did look like a WWll plane, imo.

Wasn't the french woman's name Danielle....that could be the D in DH

We know Hurley had tons of money, where was he sitting on the plane? Everyone in First Class died right? Was he sitting in coach to avoid spending the money?

Could 108 be the original number of passengers on the plane?

Beyond all the theories - did anyone else crack up when Hurley mentioned there's a monster in the jungle and no one seems to be looking for it? :rotfl:

I wondered if the Hurley part came from an eating disorder (hurling). His mother did say You're starting to gain weight again, didn't she?
WHO KNOWS????

Yes! He was kind of like the voice of the viewer there: Hey this is crazy!!! I love Hurley.

Oh my head hurts already thinking of all the possibilities!! I don't want to think what it'll feel like by the time the next new episode airs!!

:drinking1 :tilt: :crazy2: :faint:

I know Hurley told Charlie that he was worth 156 Million, but does anyone remember the amount of money he won initially?

His accountant said he's almost doubled his money with all the investments, so I'd guess around 80 million.

hmmmm.... I wonder if it might have been 81.5 million (thus associated with the number 815)...
