I was watching with my kids and we all jumped !!!! I don't think there has ever been a TV show that made me jump ever ! :scared1:

You have to try watching 24 (especially the earlier seasons). I jump with that one all the time!

Me too! The first season made me particularly jumpy.

Lost is just driving me crazy but in a good way. Wasn't one of the major castmembers supposed to die before the end of the season. I thought that was what happened last night but fooled again. ;)

My DH noticed that, too. Locke has had no hair growth. Maybe he uses one of his 400 knives to stay clean shaven. I think Kate made reference to them being on the island for three weeks now. I am trying to picture Sawyer and Jack with the Tom Hank's look in Castaway!

Lisa
NO NO NO I will not allow Sawyer to look that way. He's hoarding eveyone's stuff, so hopefully he found a few razors in there. He's perfect just the way he is
Jack, well who cares what he looks like - LOL - just kidding Jack fans.

I had not thought about Locke not getting scruffy. Ugh!! This is making me crazy :badpc:

I love LOST and can't wait for each episode.

I also think Locke is shaving with his knives!

One thing that is driving me nuts: Why isn't everyone out on a systematic search for the pregnant Claire? Why isn't everyone going to see the French woman to demand some answers?

Has anyone noticed Hurley? I thought last night he was looking a little thinner. I wonder if he'll have to lose weight for the show?

One of the writers mentioned a regular going out with an unknown, and the regular getting killed off. He says it will happen. Here's the link:

From ABC's website:

London-born Naveen Andrews auditioned for drama school and was accepted at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His studies paid off when he won a role in Hanif Kureshi's film, London Kills Me.

In 1993 Andrews was nominated by the Evening Standard Drama Awards as Most Promising Newcomer for his part in Wild West. His big break occurred when he was cast in the Oscar-winning film The English Patient. He then went on to appear in such films as Kama Sutra, Mighty Joe Young, True Love and Chaos, Rollerball and Drowning on Dry Land. He will also be seen in the upcoming Bride and Prejudice, directed by Gurinder Chadha for Miramax Pictures.

On television his starring performance in Chippendale Murders was highly acclaimed, as was his work in the BBC's The Buddha of Suburbia, for which he was nominated for Best Actor at the San Remo Film Festival. He also starred in the BBC's Peacock Spring, Double Vision, The Frontier and Mira Nair's My Own Country.

Andrerws enjoys playing the guitar, composing and reading. He resides in Los Angeles with his partner, Barbara Hershey. He has one son, Jaisal.

Thanks for this link. It was a very enjoyable read....I especially liked the tie-ins between Lost characters and characters in Steven King's "The Stand." I had never thought about that but now that I see it.....so true! Hope Locke doesn't turn out to be the Randall Flagg character though. I enjoy Terry O'Quinn too much for him to be a bad guy!

We discovered 24 this year after one of the hurricanes pasted through. Our electricity came back on but we didn't have cable for weeks. The video stores were empty because nobody had cable. I saw 24 on the shelf and Six Feet Under. I had heard of both and deicided on 24. My DH and I were hooked. We would watch one DVD and couldn't wait to get the next one! There are three seasons on DVD. The fourth season started on Fox last week. We rushed to get through the first 3 seasons but I wish we hadn't. I would much rather watch the DVD's then the TV. Start with Season 1, which was the best in my opinion. You won't regret it!

I was disappointed that Boone's drugged/dream sequence was not real. I have to admit I was glad when Shannon got attacked by the "monster"...she makes me nuts.

She's a good actress, because I can't stand her character.

Oh, why must we have to wait another whole week to see more?

I thought it was strange that Boone hallucinated what he did, since he hasn't seen the "creature" before. And it did the same thing to Shannon as it did to the pilot, but Boone doesn't know about the pilot. Could this be a plot hole?

That's what I was wondering too.

I know, you're right. They didn't put that in there for no reason. Plus when Locke and Boone were walking to the hatch early in the episode (after Boone told Sayid to stay away from Shannon) Locke told Boone to be nice to Sayid because they would want him on their side. Don't know what that means, but it could go back to Locke trying to convert people to the evil or dark side.

Being that Locke is so wise I took that to mean that he knows mankind and eventually the group will become divided.

I don't know what anything means anymore. Too many theories. My brain is starting to hurt!!

I don't know if any of you are Survivor fans, but I couldn't help thinking about the time Kathy peed on John's foot when he suffered the same injury.

::yes:: I was thinking the same thing.

I feel your pain. What is great about this thread is that we can all come here with our ideas and theories. After reading all these it gives me a new look at certain things. It will be great to get some answers!

I may just join the Sayid camp but still a Charlie junkie :smiles:

To anyone who watched Angel,I'm sure one of the evil lawyers is the Asian woman's husband but can we be sure?
